Chuck joins me again and we discuss Post Apocalyptic^20 as well as a slew of upcoming Supers^20 dispatch issue. And then I rant about Champions Online breaking my heart by not releasing for the xbox 360. I'm such a cry baby!

heh. Thanks for mentioning that fourth Supers20 thing. I was hoping we could keep that quiet. Guess I'm honor bound to do it now.
It's Cosmic20 - -a campaign model that brings the outer space action of the Green Lantern Corps, Nova Corps etc to Supers20. I sent Chuck the vehicles and equipment part of the draft last night. Should finish it in the next couple of days if my supply of PBR doesn't give out.

COSMIC20! Holy crap that is cool. Not a big fan of the DC stuff myself but Marvel has been cranking out some fun stuff a'la cosmic lately. Definitely looking forward to that.

Walt

Forgot to mention... "MAD20 Son!" This is going to be my status message for the day! And Chuck, If you come out with a Madworld20 setting for Modern20, I want to be the first on the block to own it.

Walt

Yeah - Marvel has had some great cosmic events lately with the Annihilation Wave event (and the various fallout and spin-offs), the War of Kings (they found a way to make Darkhawk interesting!) and the death and rebirth of the Nova Corps. And there's a new Quasar - - who's the old Nova? - - so that can't last. But yeah - it's been good stuff.

Not to ask the stupid question - - - but what's Mad World?

I am not a huge fan of the Wii but my wife has one and she wanted this game. Now just to clarify, my wife is a Soldier, Martial Artist, and all around adventure nut... But when she started cackling like a school girl while playing this game I was intrigued and had to watch. This is one of the coolest done, most VIOLENT video games I have ever seen. It has a cartoon like quality that keeps it from being morbid... but OMG!

I could picture something like this emerging in Post-Apocolypse20... but as a stand alone it could make a fun dispatch.

that's an intense game -- and I can also see it as a fun dispatch.

In that same vein -- check out this trailer for Dead Rising 2
(the dual chainsaw pole-arm is the star of the show. It shows up at about the 1:50 mark)

ROFLMAO! That trailer was excellent and would also make for a great dispatch episode. A zombies game has Modern20 written all over it. When Modern20 first came out that is the first type of game that came to mind for me. The artwork had that everyman quality to it that just screamed Dawn of the Dead.

Thanks for the Video.

Walt

Zombies20 is a thought that's crossed my mind one or twice too....I'm got this "Zombies at the RenFaire" adventure already outlined....
