RPGObjects News

As many people have noticed, I keep pushing the release at of Burning Lands back. I've had some real problems finding a POD (print on demand) printer that can print the novel that doesn't make me lose money. POD printers seem to appear and go under faster than a sub prime mortgage. The only reliable one I've found is LULU, but they are crazy expensive (but good quality). The price point for novel is much smaller than RPG books. Dominic's novel is around 400 pages. To print it at lulu it would be like $13 per book! At that price, I would need a cover price of like 25 to not lose money at Amazon and book stores.

The good news is that I may have found another option that would be a big help on the printing front. It's not a done deal, but I'm optimistic.

The other reason it's been delayed is we're getting a new cover. The one we have on the product page is something Dominic created. While I kind of like Dominic's abstract cover, we getting a more realistic and eye popping one done. The artist's name is Jason Walton. Check out his website: http://members.shaw.ca/myriadstudios

When we got a cover or I have a final on the printing solution, I'll post about it.
