Awhile ago our good friends at 12 to Midnight asked me to write something for their fiction anthology: Buried Tales of Pinebox.

Now it's been released!

These guys know horror. In fact, they're doing Horror20 for Modern20, coming soon, so if you'd like a taste of their brand of horror or their signature horror setting, you should definitely check the book out.

You can find out more here:

As many people have noticed, I keep pushing the release at of Burning Lands back. I've had some real problems finding a POD (print on demand) printer that can print the novel that doesn't make me lose money. POD printers seem to appear and go under faster than a sub prime mortgage. The only reliable one I've found is LULU, but they are crazy expensive (but good quality). The price point for novel is much smaller than RPG books. Dominic's novel is around 400 pages. To print it at lulu it would be like $13 per book! At that price, I would need a cover price of like 25 to not lose money at Amazon and book stores.

The good news is that I may have found another option that would be a big help on the printing front. It's not a done deal, but I'm optimistic.

The other reason it's been delayed is we're getting a new cover. The one we have on the product page is something Dominic created. While I kind of like Dominic's abstract cover, we getting a more realistic and eye popping one done. The artist's name is Jason Walton. Check out his website: http://members.shaw.ca/myriadstudios

When we got a cover or I have a final on the printing solution, I'll post about it.

I've been hard at work on the new website and haven't been updating the catalog with upcoming Darwin's World stuff.

Now that I pushed first phase of the new website, I took some time to update the catalog. You can see it all on the new DW homepage.

The next 3 immediate DW items are:
-Revenge of the Terminals (gencon 2008 adventure) by Chris Davis
-Burning Lands: A Darwin's World Novel (this is a print book) by Dominic Covey
-Secrets of The Mind Masters (first of 3 loosely connected Savant adventures) by Dominic Covey

The last 2 might not come out in that order.
