I think prowl for him is more about not making a thunderous noise as he moves about rather then remaining visualy hidden.....allthough in wilderness environments with dense vegitation he could hide visualy as well, just think of how good a moose hides in the woods from those hunting shows. On the plus side if we ever manage to enter a town without being attacked first the rest of the party can rest asured that nobody will be watching any of you with any degree of intensity.

 Re: Palladium Fantasy 2ed - Mondays 8pm
Anyone know what page the Perception rules are on in the RUE? I noticed we're using that after putting my character together, and forgot to put that on my sheet. It's not on the Contents page from what i see, and there's a brief mention that supposedly it is in the combat section, but I'm not finding it...

Also, default rolls are done with your attribute that corresponds with it (not sure if I stated this already). So, a stealth skill would traditionally involve a dexterity type roll, so you would try to roll under P.P. Yes, its low, but thats what a default is. This is actually an official response from the Palladium staff on the forums (or so I heard).

Ah, okay, I'll take a look.
Yes, that's how it is supposed to be done (defaulting rolls), you use the attribute from what I heard, as well.
[Random Update: On a totally different topic - I finally got Open to run on my Mac, so that's working now.]

I forgot to put perception on my sheet too, but it's not a big deal, usually it uses like ME or MA bonus (don't remember offhand, not near my books or my own pc. at the library) if any and d20 roll. Some OCCs get a bonus as they go up in level (could see it good for Rangers and the like).

If someone figures it out definitively and posts it here, I'll edit it into my sheet as well.

 Re: Palladium Fantasy 2ed - Mondays 8pm
We will be using the Nightbane perception rules for perception. The Rifts book lists the target numbers and mentions OCC bonus, but Nightbane actually tells you how you get the bonus based on your attributes (pg 66 in Nightbane). Dont worry about it for now, we will discuss it on game day, Kevin will hunt us down if we discuss rules any further.
Also, I dont know how you guys game with megaversal rules, since many play different.
But the way I read it and usually played it, and based on the info from the hand to hand combat charts, most of the techniques (example, disarm, flying kicks, leap attacks, deathblow, stun etc.) arent available until you level up and "unlock it" on your hand to hand chart.
What is free at any level is: entangle, holds, rolling critical strike on 20, power punch and kick, roll with impact, etc.
