Bobo is registered here, his name is on the player list. He also responded to the viewtopic.php?f=5&t=1232 post.

I mentioned the first adventure will take place in Lorn. I have to take that back. No one can afford Lorn unless they actually live there. You have to register your weapons, magic, and psionic abilities, which is all pretty expensive for 1st levels. Considering the beliefs and alignments of some of the players, I only see the combined ingrediants for an all out war in that place.

So, I will start it small, maybe in Nevin, or some other small town in the area.

Also I wouldnt mind any hints to a place you would like to visit, or even a whole different worldbook. I wouldnt even mind if someone took initiative and decided to head out there regardless of the quest objective (though you might not net as much xp and items this way). I dont recommend you go looking for nexuses or magical monuments of power, especially during certain cosmic events, you will get flat-out destroyed at early levels. I am still planning Bletherad, and maybe the Old Kingdom when you guys are high enough.

Ah yes, inside Llorn is a pretty tight-run place. Actually, I mentioned my family probably having a manor outside the city (since most the nobles in such a huge, relatively cramped city would likely have more like town houses rather than their full-blown estates); perhaps we could meet there? I know with Zeno, and I, and Bobo also, that could make perfect sense. Lando's character could be passing through? I'm not sure what the rest would do (I kinda' forget who is who, here). Some of the others could be potentially minor landowners within my family's estate - lower gentry (unless they are noble-blooded, perhaps they have their own lands), or something to that effect.

My character would likely be motivated to head up North, into the thick of the Disputed Lands, and if the conditions permit, work on striking, etc. Wolfen Territory. If nothing else obligates me to be somewhere else, I can certainly direct my character that way. Given the military ties of my character (and likely Bobo's), South Watch would be a particular target to reach. There's plenty in between Llorn and South Watch and at South Watch (and the places along the way), where we could find something to do, etc.

Are you familiar with Palladium Fantasy? I think have a spot open since one player seems to have pc issues. What OCC and race are you interested in (if you dont know the system, what role would you be interested in, i.e warrior or caster or healer, etc.)?

I sleep over my girlfriends house in the weekends, and right now she doesnt have internet. That means I only have tomorrow to create the adventure, and since I have no sheets, I have to create it as generic as possible to avoid any conflicts with possible character backgrounds. Also, by sending the characters late, it will slow the game down since I wont be able to review and study the spells list before the adventure. So, that is a heads up for any players who send late character sheets.

As far as the adventure, what I have thought up so far is the following:

Any "official" Palladins, Knights, and Soldiers, and their allied OCCs are commisioned to the Merchant town of Nevin to offer their services in protecting an expected caravans safe arrival to Lorn. This caravan is to arrive to a local Alchemist in town.

This is dated a few days before the winter solistice. And if you have been keeping note on your Palladium history, winter solistice is a major cosmic event that make leylines and nexuses surge with insane magical energies that attract all forms of evil beings (and might even summon creatures from the beyond a la RIFTS). So, the agenda is for those "official representative OCCs" to recruit anyone willing to offer their services to protect the caravan (keyword anyone, considering most men of arms are guarding cities since most cities are expecting a demonic invasion, and most high level men of magic are out traversing the world to record and take advantage of this yearly event).

Gold will be offered as payment, as well as good standings with the Alchemist in Lorn who is expecting his caravan (which is always a good thing for everyone).

This is all subject to change though.

Rowan would offer to help protect the caravan since she is interested in magical things and expects the solstice to help her with magical energy. I should have my pc emailed to you tonight.

I'm pretty familiar with the palladium system iv been in 3 PF campaign's and am currently in my first dead reign campaign so i wouldn't say I'm an expert but i know and like the system. i have the second edition book as well as a few supplements and have read them all :) . Now as always i want to go directly to the GM and ask before i get my head set on any particular OCC/s or race's, so let know if the following is to outlandish or doesn't mesh well with your planned campaign. Id like to roll up a Troll-assassin, or necromancer, although i am flexible to what ever the class/race needs of the party may be. If you'd like to get a'hold of me outside of rpgobjects check my page for my AIM and SKYPE screenames, look forward to hearing more details!

we're aiming for a heroic kind of campaign, but so far Lando is aberrant evil and the rest of us are selfish alignments. I very much think that this campaign will have a very anti-heroic feel to it in actual play. Most of the group will end up doing good things for people, mostly motivated by enlightened self-interest.

basically the analogy I see is how a selfish rich man donates millions/year to charity. Its not because it ends up doing a lot of good for people, but because it's a huge tax write-off.

i guess i have a few questions before i can get started on any kind of character development, first and formost are the questions i asked earlyer about race and occ, but besides that id like to know. How are we doing our stat rolling? (ie a internet program, honor system etc). What level are our characters starting at? and what if anything for skills equipment etc is not allowed? allso wondering if the GM has any homebrew rules or rule modifications that we should know about?
