hello all, sorry about the drop out last Sunday, those of you in the UK know what kind of weather my area is experiencing at the moment, and I got caught up in it!

263. Yeah, that's kindof a guess based on ALL the IP I've gotten since this thread started...I've only spent a little SINCE then, and I know I had a big chunk saved up (maybe even 100, not counting all that I spent and lost record of) from before Apis.

I dont know if Sam is still with us, but i am 90% sure she doesn't check these forums. But she knows we are on Veav and what time we play, if she doesn't show or check our ancestral server for us thats her own issue. :P

I will see what I can do about scrounging up some new blood, but be warned, the people I frequent can be scary 0.o

I don't think scrounging for people is the best bet at this point in time. As is, we have 4 mostly reliable players. Somewhere around the start of the year we had...7. That's an entire group's worth lost. Furthermore, our game is not exactly...accessible. I do have a suggestion to fix this, however. If we recruited for a "new game" involving a very familiar Pacifica based event that has nothing to do with the phoenix at first. Then we can probably ease said people in while everything goes on in the background...and then we can get into the bat-shit crazy stuff so that people immediately don't go running for the hills. Previous players would essentially be npcs...mostly so this doesn't devolve into a horrible horrible mess and said players are not bored. Once you have people invested, I think they'd stick around. As is, however, our game seems to be very alienating and more than a little bit daunting to new players. It's just a thought, but I'm pretty sure it'd be much easier to work with than hoping for a player or two to work out. Plus, you were thinking of switching the day for the game, weren't you Bish? Wouldn't this make for quite a good opportunity?

Thats a pretty damn good idea actually, I like it, it would freshen things up, and help get the players interested in the game before the super indepth stuff..

What are other peoples thoughts? fancy NPCing some of my crackpots for a bit?

Personally, I like the idea as a whole, and think the opportunity to add OUR NPCs to the mix (no offense, Bish) would be better.

New chars for us (TEMPORARILY), to go along with the new chars for them. We'd all be in the same boat, in that regard, might make things smoother for when we transition back.

personally, might like to give my mechanic a try at Bishop's build level. Would be handy to have around the ship as an NPC engineer, too.

FYI, might be a little late today, overslept and having to get something done if I can.

So...No-show.

Well, as always I'm still up for it, though next week (19th) I won't likely be around during game-time. Maybe that'd be a good time to work out the details of the semi-reset, for anyone who can make it around. Christmas is the week after, and I'm going to assume now that Bish is breaking for New Years, too.

Ok, this is the story as it stands,
I currently work at Thorntons, I was asked to come into work on Sunday due to the Office beign down 13 people, so I did, barely making it in due to the weather.
Luckily my office allows me to use my workstatino for itnernet browsing during work!
I was suppsoed to leave at 3 pm, this would have got me home in plenty of time for the 8 pm kick off.
problem was the 3 foot of slush snow that had frozen solid down the entire acess road, and the clever idiots that had abandoned their cars at the side of it preventing a snow plow getting up it.
Short of it was, I had to spend the ngiht in my car. I am still here at work, and theo nly reason my email seems calm is the swear filters they have on here.

Yes, I work at a premier British chocolate manufacturer, Yes I know, I am an Umpa-Lumpa.

Looks good! actualyl I like the idea of you guys creating some of the NPC crew for the ship, works for me,

So what i have to do is put together a loose guide line for you to build the NPC.s in, and then we have to get soem new starters in as well!

OK back to work, I got to ship 800 tons of chocolate.
