Blind Rolls: The DM rolls certain checks for the players with out there knowledge.
I like blind rolls because they add to the drama. For example if I say "roll a spot check" and you all fail you don't see it but you still know some things up and that kills the drama of a ambush or a secret mind control.

Another option to this is at the beginning of game you roll a d20 a couple times and write down the results. Then I can use those results for Blind Checks.

As far as I am concerned, you can make all MY rolls, too. I find that the whole OpenRPG die-rolling thing slows the game down - and gaming is slow enough online.

Which OpenRPG "die roller / character sheet" do you prefer?

ONE LAST THING! IF any one's around early in the next few days with nothing to do and wants to help me make sure my OPENRPG is working will earn them selves and the WHOLE party a 500 XP reward

I can do that! I have to setup my OpenRPG again, anyway. as I have not used it in over a year. What is a good time for you?

Pedrofile, I sent my character sheet to your email.

Also will we be using any form of voice chat for our games? I have a Ventrilo server we can use if you guys want to. Even if you don't have a mic you can still listen and then type. Just an thought. I also have skype.

Hey guys.

First, XP when the parties split (don't split the party, you've seen scooby doo.). If the party splits do to the narrative, like some of the party gets captured and the others have to rescue them, then every one gets XP. If the party splits by player choice, for example the Rogue goes off to steal from the Kings chambers while the other players are talking to him, then he gets XP but the rest of the party doesnt. Or if the mage challenges his rival to a duel to the death, he gets xp. That sort of thing.

SECOND! Woah! I really don't want to roll ALL your dice. Thats to much power for one person (also major pain in the ass). But thats two of six in favor of blind rolls. I assume you guys are all good with the other two?

Third, i get home from work between 7am est and 9am est, depending these are good times for me.

I leave you with another bit of Fluff.

A rumour you over heard during your travels...
"The Minister of New Crye has a (apparently not so) secret bunker underneath the Legislative Office. Whats weird is that 100 Lbs of meat get delivered there every week."

A fat guy who said his name was Bart, he smelt funny.

I also in favour of blind rolls for spot and listen checks and the like, in fact i used to do the same thing when I was DM.

Also, why am I still up as (unknown melee)? It's been known I'm playing a fighter for ages.

I'm also cool with blind rolls. I find it helps immersion and cuts down on metagaming.

As for voice chat, if we're going to use it, I vote for Skype. I use linux, and there isn't a linux version of the ventrillo client.
However, I'm just as much in favor of a straight text game.
