Post 3.5 player looking for group with a GMT friendly time
Hey all,

I'm a long time 3.5 player and I've been looking for a group for a long time, but the problem I've been having is trying to find a GMT friendly group.

I have no problems playing late into the night or early morning, but if it falls too far into one of these (lets say 2.00AM too late, 4.00AM too early) I won't be able to make it consistently/at all.

I'd be perfectly happy to pick up any RPG as it comes along, including any D20 game, any GURPS game and the like. I have played 3.5 for a 3 years or so and so I am most comfortable with this system, but if you are looking for a player for ANY RPG that suits GMT players, please contact me. You would however have to bear with me learning the rules and asking questions as I go.

I can do any evenings, but I'm busy for the most part on Saturdays until 7.00PM. I'm looking for a consistent group that likes the story element as well as the action element of any tabletop RPG, but it is not very important.

I'm at GMT +2 (+3 now, during the summer time), and I wouldn't mind joining a well-timed D&D game. Recently, though, I've gone into Pathfinder, and prefer it over 3.5. Do you know of the system? It's d20-based, and mostly plays like a revised version of 3.5 . It's usually called D&D 3.75, only partly in joke.

I am also interested in other games, particularly Exalted (which I have no experience, but would like to try), WoD games (either new or old WoD), or Dark Heresy or maybe Rogue Trader .

I would personally be happy to play any of these games, but the reason I said 3.5 is because I have a couple of years of experience in it and it would mean that I wouldn't need to get to grips with the rules. However I am happy to do any campaign with any system as long as the GM and players are ok with me learning as I go and being new to that system.

Well, I'm more than ok with good old 3.5, if that's what is available ;) .

Much like aarandorf I also have a few years 3.5 experience, I also have played DArk Heresy, Werewolf, Dnd 4th ed (though I have grown to dislike 4th ed and much prefer 3.5). I live in England so am also looking for GMT friendly game, but anything after 2am I would also consider to be too late for rpg'ing. I am free most nights currently.

One thing I have encountered amongst 3.5 veterans is that 3.5 itch that needs scratching every now and then, it would appear aarandorf suffers that too.

Yeah, if it's 2 AM for you it's 4 AM for me, and that might be a little inconvenient. I had to bow out of my first game here because of that, the guys were playing 3-6 AM on Thursday night, and I normally work on Fridays.
