Re: pathfinder saturdays xp and notices
Ok, Rogue pretty much done. Finishing up the final details, but I have a question. How is this halfling going to keep up with the rest of you? Your mounts move at minimum 50' per round. Best I can get is 40' per round, which means 32miles overland per day, as the riding dog should not be encumbered by me or my gear.
And seriously, does a riding saddle for a riding dog weight the same as one for a horse? 25 pounds? I would think it was at least half the weight. Anyone ever run across this? Thanks!

rat_bastard wrote: I can get you a phantom steed, I'll trade gaseous form for it. Thanks, but I don't think it will work conceptually. The Phantom Steed creates a large mount. I can't use a large mount. I can take a riding dog, but it will be the slowest of the group. 40' base movement. Camels have 50, as do the normal horses. I need a harness, then strap me onto one of the animals or a rider, lol. Ideas? I don't want you to have to waste another spell on me, especially as a noob to the group, so I am trying to find a way to 'keep up' with the rest of you all. Another question. I would like to get a movement bonus item, like Boots of Striding and Springing, but with only the +10 movement bonus. Those cost 5500gp. Grants +10 Movement, and +5 Acrobatics. Trying to find out how much 10' of movement costs to add to a magic item, or to get it's base cost, some math is needed. Looking through the guide on magic items, that would mean that the +5 to a skill costs 2500gp. Example would be Boots of Elvenkind. That grants +5 Acrobatics. That would leave 3000gp left for having the +10 movement added to the boots. Since it was an additional ability, that means it was base cost times 1.5. So, base cost for Boots granting +1- movement would come out to 2000gp. Does that sound reasonable? Would Boots of Striding (+10 to base movement, only with light armor or light load) be an acceptable purchase for 2000gp?

Maybe we should just put him in a backpack and carry him instead.

Re: pathfinder saturdays xp and notices
We are just going to assume that since phantom steed is magical it can be a medium creature as well. Vash will be cool with it. Quote: Horseshoes of SpeedAura faint transmutation; CL 3rd Slot feet; Price 3,000 gp; Weight 12 lbs. (for four) DESCRIPTION These iron shoes come in sets of four like ordinary horseshoes. When affixed to an animal's hooves, they increase the animal's base land speed by 30 feet; this counts as an enhancement bonus. As with other effects that increase speed, jumping distances increase proportionally (see Using Skills). All four shoes must be worn by the same animal for the magic to be effective. CONSTRUCTIONRequirements Craft Wondrous Item, haste; Cost 1,500 gp I can make these in three days.
