Does anyone know where I might find a pathfinder compatible node for OpenRPG?

Hey. Here's my post. Not sure what you want from me... I've been looking at lots of resources and since any book is available i have too many ideas. So many it hurts a little. I've got a few that I am really in love with though. Is anyone opposed to having a pixie in the party? I'll be sure to bring lots of Styx.

Well, I wouldn't say that any book is available, just that I haven't automatically restricted anything yet.
And this is space, so any race goes, though to make it pathfinder compliant may require a bit of work.
As far as what we want from you here? Discussion. Tell us what you want, ask questions, meet the gang, join the party!

Room up now, Blackstar Games server. Room name:
(Recruiting) Wed 8pmCST, Pathfinder compatible
I'll leave it up and running, though I may or may not respond quickly, as I have a couple of things to get done around the house. I'll definately check in though.
That is, until I have to leave for work. (I'll shut it down around 1:30 CST)

Re: Interest Check - Pathfinder Wed 8pm CST *Updated with Rules*
Well, first things first. Hi, my names Xaoc; it's pronounced house, and means chaos or (more accurately) fiasco in Russian (or so I am told by a Kazik friend of mine). It's not Zay-ok. I'm a Virgo and detest long walks on the beach. Unless it's while geocaching. I personally believe that the judicious application of technology makes everything better. I also proudly admit that I love puns; the more subtle the better. It really is the form of humor that should give you indie cred. The best pun is the one no one catches. I'm a bit spastic sometimes; I've been diagnosed with ADHD so many times that you don't have enough fingers (even if you're polydactyl(sp?)) to count them, and the USArmy gave me a medical discharge before I even made it to basic. I have been described as a kender without the kleptomania. But, yeah. One word to sum me up would be technophile.
Which brings me to the character concept I've gotten. Currently race is up in the air, but the concept is an arcane caster that has spent his entire fortune on mechanikal devices (ala IK) and starts the day by mostly depleting his spell reserves performing maintenance on his devices. I'm really digging the irony and duality of a Pixie Arcane Mechanik who specializes in building and controlling 'Jacks. (Strong likelihood of pursuing the warcaster prestige class regardless of race.) There'd even be a small house on the 'Jacks shoulder that I could live in. However, the Pixie race seems just... slightly... broken for a game starting at 1st level, so it's not really a serious consideration. Significantly more likely would be the Half-Fey or Ghost Elf, depending on how the campaign shapes up, a Sharakim might also work.
What is it that I want from a campaign? I suppose it'd be the same for virtually all Role players. An engaging story that allows significant advancement via plot, and a GM that realizes the point of a game is not always combat. Personally, I have easily 5 times more fun when a group is making an effort to play their roles and the GM rewards the role playing. I'd (theoretically) be perfectly content playing an NPC class and never leaving town or advancing past 3rd level if the story and RP were good enough. But, lets also be 100% honest with ourselves, amassing personal power and a fortune that would make a gold great worm dragon jealous is also fun as hell too. If a GM can pull off both without the fights getting tedious or becoming a simple numbers game, I think I'd be the happiest player in the world. (As long as there's wenches to be had. Can't forget the wenches. They're great for moving heavy loads such as that chest of steal ingot that weighs a ton and a half.)
My play style. I don't min/max; it's not fun. If I wanted to cheat I'd play a single player video game and turn on god mode. I can't play successfully in a group that obsessively power games. Oh, sure, I like having an advantage just as much as the next guy, but figuring out creative ways to overcome your weaknesses is fantastic; mitigating the weakness, not so much. I can't stand a game that is one huge dungeon-crawl after another; put some political intrigue in there fer Chris' sake, and PLEASE break up the monotony. I like talking my way out of problems and I love a good riddle. I tend to start out shy (IRL groups, not so much on the internets so far) but once I get to know a group of people I tend to play very high-energy characters.

Cool.
I do think zay-ahk sounds cooler though. :P And I'll probably be thinking that just like my head says 'sheen' every time I see Sean. >.> I just can't read that as Shawn...

Oh, I guess I should confess to being a low level psychic. I deal in mostly precognition, but occasionally I'll pull out remote sensing with a touch of mind reading.

It looks like we have enough players. The recruiting on OpenRPG has been far more successful than I expected it to. We even have a couple of maybe's.
Look for one more post tonite, wherein I'll link you to my blog. I'll put campaign write-ups there.
So get your sheets together (text files are fine for now), and get them to me by the 12th if you can. That way if I have any issues we have time to work them out. I'll look at starting hopefully on the 19th, but I'm expecting the 26th.
You can email me at tolenmar @ GMX.com.
And if you would post here a final yea or nay answer about whether you are still in (and your planned character) so I can get a count, that would be appreciated. Look for the blog link later tonite.

I'll start looking at making a text file character sheet. You want it in Word, notepad... what?
