Game is OFF for tonight.

I installed the 1.8.0.5 update for OpenRPG and my system can no longer find any of the servers. Hopefully this will be fixed soon.

If it is not fixed, I will look for an older version to install and see if that can find the servers.

I had this problem of not being able to find the game servers. when you log into openrpg program type openrpg.wrathof.com into the server field. That will get you onto the devII server. If you are lucky you will find one of the network administrators.....Merc. The last time I had this problem I think he gave me the instructions for clearing my cache file....anyway it worked. it was not a problem with the servers or openrpg...something had to be cleared in the programs file on my hard drive where openrpg was....i believe it was the cache file that needed to be deleted. good luck!

I'm trying to help you here because I had this exact problem before. first of all sometimes a server will just be down. our group uses the devII server. When you log onto openrpg...and hit browse settings....you should see the various servers. If you can't see the servers..go to the field that says address and type....openrpg.wrathof.com. Then hit the connect button and that will at least get you onto the devII server where you can play.

To see the servers you need to delete your metaserver cache file. Go to my computer....programs.....openrpg....myfiles...you will see an icon for metaserver cache file...delete it. It should create itself anew when you log onto openrpg again and you should be able to see the servers....good luck...in the worst case try to get onto the devII server and ask Merc the administrator to help you....

Thank you so much Tomm, that worked. I don't know how the file got corrupted, the only change I made was updating to 1.8.0.5, but your idea worked like a charm.

If you have any space, I think I counted four replies to your three-person search, I'd like to play or look on at least. I've played with 3.5 but it was a very casual group and I'd love the opportunity to see how it's done.
