RULES
Core: Rifts: Ultimate Edition
Sourcebooks: MercTown, MercOps, Mercenaries, Mercenary Adventures, various other RIFTS supplements (I own a great deal of them). Most any Rifts: Earth related supplement permitted. Run all mdc races by me for approval and any odd gear/armor/weapon requests that aren't found in Merctown.

Character Level: 4th
Stats: roll 4d6 for humans, takes highest 3, reroll 1's, D-bees per specific D-bee's, you maybe mdc races with approval (run it by me first).
Alignments: Any, but you must be party oriented and not a lone wolf.
Starting Gear: Per OCC/RCC with possible weapons/armor and such approved by me.
Starting Funds: Maximum starting funds, plus 200,000 credits.
Character sheets should include background/story leading upto your arrival in Merctown. Sheets should be in rtf, word or pdf format for readability/printing. I have good sheet files if needed. I also have OpenRPG nodes.
Email completed pcs: landothearchmagi at comcast.net (replace at with @, no spaces.

I'm sorry that I was a no show last night and not able to get any warning to you, Lando. I got so utterly screwed over yesterday and today, its not funny.

Day started out with being thrown under the bus so badly, I actually was threatened with being fired for someone else's mistake that somehow ended up now being my fault, and it went downhill from there. Didn't get to leave till 8 and thought I was going to make it just in time, but bad luck reared its head. Something in the road that I didn't see caused not 1, not 2, but 3 flat tires....

So here it is, after 8:30 and i'm scrambling to try and get a tow to someplace still open or will stay open long enough for them to at least log in my car to be looked at and then i'm calling all over to try and get a ride home. I don't even remember what time I eventually got home by or even really getting home I was so pissed and tired.

All I remember is getting woken up around 8am by work and being told I have to come in and work on the backlog of returns because I'm in the fucking doghouse from yesterday's BS, so now I'm scrambling to try and get ready and find a ride to work because the car's still in the shop. Working returns is a horrible job made even worse when you're the only one being made to work on the weekend.

I've only just gotten home a few moments ago and had time to finally type this up and again, I'm sorry for being a no show, no call.

Wow I'm sorry for you my friend, that's just an awful bunch of BS for you to go through. I'm also sorry about your car, done had my share of car BS too. I hope things brighten for you and that something better comes your way. You got the option of playing Tibbs at 4th lvl with the changes above or making a new pc (about 80% of the party are making new pcs).

Feel free to let me know if you want to play and what option you choose.

I'm still interested in playing if I don't keep getting screwed over. I may keep on with Tibbs, but I'm also kind of interested in maybe something a bit more exotic, mutant wise.

There were also the Australian muties that interested me orginally way back when I was first reading the books, but ended up shying away from them as a lot of the options made them light to medium MDC creatures.

You're more than welcome to play if work stops screwing you over. The new game will likely be harsher with combat hence the inclusion of mdc races permitted, but they need to be approved, so run your idea via pm/email. I've only got like 1 full pc so far (Eric's) and had another inquire (Deona's player is making the party healer and a new pc).

Since no one other than Eric has gotten me a completed pc, I'm going to postpone starting for another week. This gives folks time to sort out their new character concepts and get a pc submitted for approval.
