Re: Barbarians of Lemuria CONAN anyone?
Great work last night all. Those last couple encounters should have been much more difficult but the dice were on your side this time.
You all should now refresh your hero points to the full 5, unless you sacrificed 1 hp at character creation to get an extra boon. In addition, you have each earned 2 Advancement Points.
Please make sure you describe how you each decided to spend the king's ransom you looted as soon as you can. Once you have updated your characters please send a new copy to me via e-mail or link me to it here in the forum so I can update my copies please.

Re: Barbarians of Lemuria CONAN anyone?
Returning with the rest of his group and the person who hired them to help find the book (sorry, forgot his name...lol), Khazim first sets into having a rich meal and a hot bath to wash the road grime away. While this is happening he pays for his weapons and armor to be cleaned and mended as needed. Afterwards he makes inquires about the area to find out the names of the widows of the sailors that were lost to the sea serpent. Once he gets this information he visits each one by one, breaking the news to them as gently as possible if they did not already know. With that done he gives each a substantial sum of gold so that they and their children can be taken care of. Khazim remembers his youth well and knows it is hard enough growing up without a father nevermind having to fight for survival out in the streets as a pauper. After he finishes meeting with all the widows he squanders much of his remaining gold living it up with his companions, wenching and drinking and eating rich foods. Seeing his pockets are close to empty he shrugs and laughs to himself, knowing it is approaching time to find another pigeo....errr...benefactor to get back out on the road doing what he likes best....living by his wits and his steel.

After returning back to civilization, Freya gets a good room at the local inn and gets a hot cleansing bath and makes sure her gear/weapons are tended too as well. She spends a good amount on food/drink and some entertainment herself and buys a round or two for the tavern as well. She enjoys time with her companions and does some stuff on her own. She also sees about buying a good quality horse, saddle and the like. She gambles some of her riches away, and challenges a few men and women to feats of martial prowess to keep from being bored. As her funds begin to run dry, she keeps her eyes and ears alert for possible new adventures.

Upon returning to society Siorc visits the apothecary to refill all his medicines. Whilst perusing the aisles of dried herbs he hears of a farming community who is experiencing an out break of an odd disease that has all the local healers stumped. Soirc jumps at the challenge to help these people. He hires a servant and instructs him too acquire a donkey and a cart. The shopkeepers eyes flash wide as Siorc empties the large sack of gold and jewels and asks :How much for everything?" with a grin on his face. After a days long bumpy cart ride later Siorc and Finn are entering the village and seeing the sick and dying laying in the streets. They go directly to the city center and set up some tents and begin seeing patients. Through a series of complex scientific tests Soirc identifies that the source of the illness a green mold that has been growing in their well. After burning all the mold the townsfolk revive and with only a few deaths. Soirc finds that the mold was the result of a sorcerer doing foul experiments in the towns center. This sorcerer happened to be the mayor who then had Siorc and Finn run out of town and convinced the townsfolk that it was them who caused the illness and were trying to capitalize on the peoples illness.. Soirc and Finn walk back to town together and drink to excess until the gold runs dry..
