Polling for Player Interest: New Weekend Pathfinder Campaign
I am checking to see if there are 4-6 people interested in joining a new OpenRPG Pathfinder Campaign that would be run weekly on Saturday mornings, Saturday evenings, or Sunday mornings (US Central Time). We would be playing the Council of Thieves, Kingmaker, or Serpent's Skull Adventure Path, based on group preference. If you are interested, please post a reply (and include your email address) or send me an email at acollins46805@yahoo.com. I would like to schedule a chat with those interested in the near future. Andy

I'd be interested in playing a Pathfinder game on Saturday evenings, and that Serpent's Skull Adventure path sounds good to me. my contact info is nathan.fennel@yahoo.com

For those who are not familiar with Pathfinder Adventure Paths, here are links to the (free) Player's Guide PDFs on Paizo Publishing's website: Council of Thieves: http://paizo.com/store/games/roleplayin ... 48btpy89m7Kingmaker: http://paizo.com/store/games/roleplayin ... 48btpy8dqhSerpent's Skull: http://paizo.com/store/games/roleplayin ... 48btpy8g6dYou need to have an account on their website in order to add the free PDFs to your "My downloads" page. Once added, you can download them from there at any time in the future.

Re: Polling for Player Interest: New Weekend Pathfinder Camp
I'm interested for a Saturday morning. I have a D&D 4e game on Sat nights that usually runs till about 3am so Sat nights and Sun mornings are kinda out of the question for me. I am a noob to Pathfinder but I do own the Rulebook. I just recently got back into playing PnP rpgs after about 8 years and snagged the D&D 4e and Pathfinder rulebooks after some research.
I'm also familiar with OpenRPG as I use it for my D&D sessions.

Re: Polling for Player Interest: New Weekend Pathfinder Camp
Here are the proposed time slots that I had in mind to choose from (all are US Central Time):
Saturday mornings: 9 AM to 1 PM Saturday evenings: 8 PM to Midnight (at the latest) Sunday mornings: 9 AM to 1 PM
I can be somewhat flexible on the exact session start and end times. My personal preference, however, is for the Saturday morning slot.

I can possibly make that time. Does it start this week or next week? I am leaning towards Kingmaker the most, offering a fresh new way to play the game. Possibly going to play a Cavalier or a Dwarf warrior

Re: Polling for Player Interest: New Weekend Pathfinder Camp
Once we have enough players, we then need to decide on which time slot and Adventure Path to play. Once those decisions are made, it will probably take at least a week for me to prepare for the first session. I've not read into Kingmaker or Serpent's Skull yet.
My employer's Holiday Party is this evening (I know, lame to have it AFTER the new year), so I won't be able to have a chat tonight.
Who is available to chat tomorrow? If we can decide the time slot and game, then we could have our first session next weekend. Players need to know which AP so they can review the proper player's guide and start creating their characters.
I'll make another post soon to provide the general character creation rules. Trait selection should wait until the AP is selected if you want to take (at most) one campaign-specific trait as one of your two total character traits.
