Lando, I'm not trying to rush you, especially with the holidays, just wondering if you ever had a chance to look at the altered character sheet for Regias? I'd like to have it settled before the next adventure starts.

If you could resend it that'd be great. I'll take a look in my email after Christmas and double check.

Re: Rogue Trader 40K (Recruiting 4 spots)
Hey Lando, I am interested in playing an Explorator. I really wanted to send you a private message to discuss this with you, however I can not for the life of me seem to find any method what so ever of creating a pm to you. So I don't know, maybe you could send me a pm then I could reply to that.
Anyway, I have never played Rogue Trader. I do have core rulebook and am mostly familiar with the setting and rules. I am in Florida so same time zone as you and have a very flexible schedule, so I can make most any game that is scheduled. I have not gamed in quite a long time, other than a very little bit of D&D and some Warhammer FRP over the last year.
To give you a little background on me. I am 42 and come from the old school gaming of the late 70's and 80's, then joined the military and got away from it. Over the years I have collected books from quite a few different systems but have not really jumped back in.
So if you would be interested in having me as a player just let me know.
Thanks, Jim

Thanks, Jim Good evening, an explorator who is reliable and dependable is much needed. As for being new to RT, that's fine, most of us are new or fairly new as well. I've played/GMed it for a bit now so I'm getting more of it under my belt. I'm an old school gamer myself, got over 30 rpgs for over 30 yrs of gaming. I also play 40k and WFB games so I can relate to that. I started with AD&D 1st ed/Chainamail and D&D Basic back in 1979/1980. PCs should be made at Rank 2, with 7100 xp or so total (5000+2100). At the bottom of every post to the right of the date it was posted is the option to PM you can also do so through the name lookup etc. My email is listed on the thread too.

Re: Rogue Trader 40K (Recruiting 4 spots)
Hey Lando, thanks for the quick reply. So I will go ahead and work on getting a Explorator character together and send it to you. I might need to contact you to clarify some things here and there, if so I will just e-mail you. I see that Jan. 6th is the next scheduled session so that should give me plenty of time to get it all sorted out. I am really excited to get a chance to play Rogue Trader, all my experience has pretty much been in the straight up fantasy/sword/sorcery genre and even though its been a while since I have played and therefore should not be burned out on it, I am. But the Rogue Trader setting and fluff and content just makes me giddy, haha. I just love sci-fi in this fashion.
Just as an aside, have you run or played any of the 3rd core rulebook (Deathwatch)? I haven't gotten a copy of it yet but the little bit I have read has already got me wanting to give that one a go. But don't want to get ahead of myself, I am way stoked for some Rogue Trader. Just curious if you have played it yet and what you thought about it.

Re: Rogue Trader 40K (Recruiting 4 spots)
Lando, I just resent the stats. Hope that helps. Also, I asked this in the email as well, but is the 7100xp figure accurate? When we discussed it a week or two ago, I thought the number was 5600.
Anyway, welcome to the Grim Dark Future, zeno. I play the Navigator Regias, though I've been having some tech issues lately. It'll be nice to have a stable Explorator, as Lando said, and especially one with decent English.

Re: Rogue Trader 40K (Recruiting 4 spots)
Hey thanks for the welcome Bleak. I'm looking forward to joining you in the Grim Dark Future =) I can promise you a stable Explorator, I just hope I can provide you a competent one. Named him Kray, just for future reference.
Hey Lando, got a question for you. Are you strictly going by the origin path for character creation? The reason I ask is because I have followed the rules all the way up to the last one (Home World), I started from the bottom, but I was wondering if it would be alright to choose a home world that doesn't follow the rule of directly above or the two adjacent squares. I hope that made sense.

Re: Rogue Trader 40K (Recruiting 4 spots)
Just registered to say that I've rolled up an Astropath Transcendent (melee-focused, no less!) and I'm looking forward to joining in the first session of 2011. Never played RT, but have gamed with DH and DW, so I shouldn't be too out of it. Timezone is GMT, which shouldn't be a problem. Cheers guys!
Oh, and character sheet sent off.
