Striving to protect a world that hates and fears them, the X-Men are dedicated to protecting man and mutant alike. Anton Sinclair, founder of the X-Men, has begun gathering a group of children he can mold into a team he can use to forge his dream, a world where mutants can live in the open without fear of persecution.

Standing in the way of his dream are secret government coalitions, rogue agencies wishing to study, control, or exploit mutants, and his best friend, Alexander Restovich , aka The Master, whose lessons at the hands of one of these agencies has led him to the conclusion that man and mutant cannot coexist; that mutants must rule supreme over man, or destroy mankind, if they are to survive.

The first generation of mutants were born after the bombing of Nagasaki and Hiroshima, and thanks to Three Mile Island, Chernobyl, and countless nuclear “tests”, the seeds planted in the human genome millennia ago by an unknowable alien race are beginning to germinate in larger numbers. It is inevitable that the existence of mutants will soon become public knowledge, unable to be concealed any longer.


Seeking 4-6 players for an “X-Men” style game set in the modern age.

Only mutant teenager concepts need apply. The game will be part school/social interaction, part societal/political reactionism, part superhero action. Must be willing to roleplay as part of a superhero team and as a student at the Sinclair School for Gifted Youngsters. (Interaction between player characters will be highly encouraged) Power Level 8.

Would like to consider using Skype as well as OpenRPG to speed up/enable smoother gameplay, especially for the roleplay portion.

Game lengths will usually be about 3 hours. I'm considering Monday Nights, 6pm EST (GMT-5) to 9pm. I run another game on Wednesdays, so that's definintely out.

I am just looking at it and fumbling through and if you dont have a problem with a newbie I would be interested

i'd be interested. I don't have the book and the time doesn't work out too well for me though.

Interested as well... date/time/setting is good, Skype may be an issue though.
