Post Re: Mekton: Rosetta Eclipse
Well, after this recent ip dump and looking back at my sheet for once I realize I have amassed a fairly large quantity. I was wondering if anyone had any strange and sudden insight into as to what Rose could be trained in any might think to approach her about. I spoke with Juryrigged about this and he mentioned the possible use of bridge support and an additional pilot. Considering the scenario, I might be able to pick these things up abnormally quick for some reason. Not instantly mind you, but just abnormally quick. After all, these things don't happen instantly.

I ask this because I have noted an odd lack of ability in certain situations and was wondering if anyone wished for me to suddenly be less limited. That is all and I prematurely thank you for any suggestions you might have. Except for you Seth...a comment like that is rude.

Hey seth, i was reading over the logs about how you want a mecha custom built again, why dont we all get together and design seth the first team built bio/ancient/dead tech mecha, something Steven Felix and Sam work together to build?

I've updated the Icarus post on the previous page to reflect its 250CP limit. Not much needed changing: IA has been reduced 1 level, some MA has been reduced and space efficiency on the tail has been reduced.

Next up is the Seraphim-L. It's been complete for quite some time, but I never got around to doing a post. Ultimately, the Seraphim-L powered armor is a "light duty" suit. It's tough enough to handle light combat needs (though not quite up to the task of a milspec shoot-out) as well as most "around the ship" forms of wear-and-tear. As a matter of disclosure, thus far, Sam has received the prototype model (with a few upgrades specific to her duties) and Rose has received this basic model:

Seraphim-Light (Powered Armor Suit, 24.921CP)
28.5 kg (MV 0), 8MA (8 Gravitic), Supercharged Cool Reactor (Ancient Tech)
+4 Movement, +2 Body Type for Stun Shock Saves
Space, Underwater, Arctic, Desert, High Pressure, Electromagnetic protections
Suit equipped with blow-away panels in the event of severe damage/operator injury; anti-theft system.
75kg carry capacity before encumbrance (does not include pilot.)

Servos:
Head (M Striker, 4 Space, 2 Toughness, 10SP (Gamma) armor)
[*]Sensor (Striker, .4 Space, 1 Kill, 3.5km range, 16km Comm.)
[*]Helmet lamp (30m cone)
[*]3.6 Space free
Torso (M Striker, 8 Space, 2 Toughness, 10 SP (Gamma) armor)
[*]Grav-Harness (4MA, 2.28 Space)
[*]Storage Space (.4 Space, 50kg capacity)
[*]5.32 Space free
Arms (Left & Right are identical; Striker, 4 Space, 2 Toughness, 10 SP (Gamma) armor)
[*]Gauntlet (+2hits damage, +0 WA, .4 Space, Handy, Quick)
[*]Power Linkage (allows the suit to power external devices)
[*]Throw (+5m range)
[*]3.6 Space Free
Legs (Left & Right are identical; Striker, 4 Space, 2 Toughness, 10 SP (Gamma) armor)
[*]Grav-Boot (2MA, 1.14 Space)
[*]Storage Space (.1 Space, 12.5kg capacity)
[*]Kick (+2 hits damage)
[*]2.76 Space free

As a reference point, the Seraphim-H will likely be "double" the Seraphim-L, with double toughness/armor, a nearly identical "basic" suite, and only slightly improved gravitics/thrusters. Both models are meant to operate with the aid of a Seraphim Bio-suit, which I encourage Felix to post. :P

I have one designed. But I don't mind pseudo-scrapping it as long as the one we build has some of the same merits the I built has. It would be up to Bish I guess? This one does some ancient tech in it. Those Aux Reactors helped me make space limits. If you are talking more an 'IC' we build sort of thing. We can use the one I designed as the one we build, and if we have any suggestions or improvements we can do to it. There is some flexible CP in it that I had nothing to do with cause of weight, and space limitations.

Ok the bio suit stats

Reflex Control: .1 modifier
transform: Skinsuit/mundane protection, uniform, casual, winter 622 SOV
Logic +3" 11 CP
Target Analizer 5 CP
planitary Coms 100 SOV
medical/sealant 50 sov per "shot" heals 2 hits instantly/ damage control package 1 CP

Total: 4 CPs and 1,000 Sov, It has 4 shots of heal and 4 shots of a non invasive drug of the creators choice, and the suit will 'refill' those shots at the rate of 1 every 4 hours.

Edit: forgot scaling XD
Edit2: Updated with crit.

What is the Reflex modifier? What does it do?

Basically the Bio-suit is a cybernetic (but not...) interface between the operator and the powered armor suit, as such, it simplifies and automates several of the actions of the suit, moving the armor's arm as you move your arm, etc. It gives the armor Reflex Control. Taking it a further step, with the right modifications, a mecha can be slaved to this stimulus to expand the suit-scale Reflex Control to the mecha itself. It's a few steps shy of thought control. But safer, too.
