Re: Star Trek CODA: New Frontier
Well as I said, got my character done and turned in.
Was going betazoid, but it is too early for that race, so Steve proposed Deltan.
So we got a male Deltan Tactical officer. Should be some fun for Lando as the Captain. I will make sure to have a bucket of cold water near me at all times

Can if need be, switch to First officer if the other guy wants tactical. Either one is fine with me, just let me know by tuesday so I can redo my skills.
Here is his background, the sheet is just too big for a post here. The flaws and development are in the background so, this is pretty much everything you need to know about him.
Teral Rosinal was born to a pair of Deltan diplomats on Earth. Being one of the few Deltans born off world, Teral thinks more human than Deltan.
Having grown up on Earth, Teral was not instructed as much on Deltan sexuality and social norms as most Deltan children are. Teral found
himself in several awkward positions with diplomat and politcal daughters and sons which caused a few problems for the young man. After a
particularly wild night with an Admiral's daughter, he woke up to find himself drafted into Starfleet and went off to training. He was popular
at Starfleet Academy with many of his fellow cadets, helping them with relationships and their course work. There were rumors concerning several of his instructors, but were dismissed when investigations found that his academic life was always kept separate from his personal life.
Although rumors persist, Teral earned high marks in tactical and security training. Even becoming an assistant instructor in unarmed combat at
Starfleet Academy while he was a cadet. His parents were quite surprised at his affinity for secruity and tacitcal work, which he explains as,
"Well you got to keep them safe, or there is no one to relax with."
Shortly after graduation, he served as a security officer aboard the USS Columbia. During his tour, some Orion slave girls came aboard, nearly
handing the Columbia over to a group of Orion pirates. Being Deltan, he was able to turn the tables on the Orion pheromoens, but from then on,
he has had a great dislike for any Orion, since they use their sexuality to control others.
Although there is no "Oath of Celebacy" as of yet, he has toned down his sexuality around starfleet personal and has taken a similar Oath to
which he notifies his commanding officer of his personal life to keep problems to a minimum before any relations are done. On duty he is nothing
but professional, though his off duty hours do sometimes bring about some problems for the young man. Teral has found most speices are not as
enlightened as his own, thus he tries to keep his relationships plutonic rather than romantic for the sake of others. This is due to a female
commander that got quite obsessed with him, and still is to this day. He is always friendly and is ready to help his fellow shipmates with any
problems they have concerning relationships and social dynamics. A skilled negotator, he fills the roles of both sides of the proverbal tactical
coin, be it negotations or a security concern.
I wasn't sure about the oath yet, but either way he will be played up to the Oath, even if it isn't around yet. I know deltans were one of the first species to join the Federation right after the main 5 joined. Just am not sure about the Oath since it was dismissed shortly before TNG time frame.
