On a side note though, Sunday is looking a little shakey, I have to go and do some things.

Or better yet, perhaps having this Sunday as a break might be a good idea.
Yeah, it will let me get things ironed out and settled with you all and the game in the proper groove for the next Arc.

Hey even if bishop doesn't come thru I still want to touch base with all of you guys on Open and make plans for next session, discuss roles, how i'm gonna fit in now.

Because my last character Loki was already "established" and had a history that went from cool but fearless/crazy Mercenary dude to holy shit this guy don't give a fuck/is batshit insane/OH MY GOD WHY IS FIRE RAINING DOWN FROM THE HEAVENS AFTER OUR NEGOTIATION WITH A MOB BOSS.

Yeah we need to talk about these things because I will play my character as the personality/situation dictates for the goals/motivations that drive him. And the group of course will not be forgotten and those goals/motivations will be factored in and at the end of the day the job will be done, the bad guys will die/live/get tied up and force fed weed/sams cookies.

And there will be cake. However as you can tell I've played more dominant/solo characters that either work with the team or do their own thing. And I forsee issues in the future unless everything is squared away OOC.

Thanks to Sams developments, you can now size crunch something up to 60% of its maximum, not 50%.

Loot is as follows.

3 x suits of what looks to be a new type of power armour system built exclusively by the pirates. It has a modular upgrade system that can be fitted with all manner of things.
you have 2 basic suits and 1 suit with a level 5 tactical battle computer and 3 slot psi lens.
9 x various battle rifles
12 x various pistols
25 x Golam gryojet pistols.
200 x kilos of C-50 explosives.
6 x Demolition kits
12 x monoknives
1 x Kahli class intrusion type cyborg body (no actual brain installed)
1 x Resource Forge
3 sports aircars
23 tons of tinned chopped tomatoes
8 x 4 gallon drums of rum
4 x Star Bear Class Bombers
4 x drinks vending machines
6 x tons of Cherry Flavour Cool Aid mix (makes 60 tons of drink)
2 x kilos of various gold trinkets.
10 x boxes of various assorted drugs (both legal and non)
1 x broken deep space probe
1 x 5 kilo bag of glass marbles
1 x papier mache musical box in the shape of a barrel organ
(sorry, no crèche drones Seth)

Afterwards there is a knees up party on the Pirate command ship (Cobalts) where you may ask a fee favours etc..
the party will pretty much have most of the big wigs there
as well as plenty of rum

Total Cost is either 4949 Sovs or 5799 Sovs. For the weapon and ammo alone. Willing to pay for the modifications..would prefer that the weapon was my issue weapon from the commando op on the pirate station and that was the one thing I was allowed to keep and a fair ammo load to keep going in a heavy combat situation. And I'm not sure how big the power cells are so that number may have to realistically downgrade so they can be carried on person or outside a powerarmour suit.

Armor would be either that battle suit or a personal armor setup (Can't post cause I can't access the armor node at this time.)

If thats too insane I can downgrade to a looted assault rifle tricked out but I really like the sound of blowing someons face away with a huge plasma rifle

Yeah I asked for military issue..its a wonderful thing..To have gear that costs more than your life (Like Mecha) assigned to you for free. The idea was that either the concordat issued me that weapon or Cobalt let me take it as spoils of war over the last few years. The modifications being on my own time.

Neglected to mention at the meeting, but as part of my work with Cobalt, we have received enough materials to augment 5 suits of powered armor from standard to scaled armor. This is essentially a doubling of the suit's armor value, but it also impacts the weight. Obviously I am taking one "application," the other 4 are up for grabs.

Ok, other stuff, since its the end of an arc, a few things I neglected to mention. (also as a result of player discussion afterwards etc)


Thanks to Sam installing the Resource Forge in the Phoenix, you can now upgrade the ship, currently you have a choice from 3, (only 1 can be picked) other upgrades will be unlocked through the game)

1) Upgrade sensors (Specialist hardening is made available from the pirates and the miners technology, harder to jam or ECM, and can discern viable resources from asteroids, etc.)

2) Enhance Weapons (Military grade loot will allow Sam to manufacture weapons upgrades, the 20 kill turrets are boosted to 30 kills)

3) Unlock a secret (this comes off a dice roll, its pot luck really, you could have something as low as finding a hidden suite of rooms once used to entertain ambassadors, etc. (yes it could be the giant pool you all want too) or it could be something much more powerful)


Further more, taking on Airya and Anya as part of the crew (position gunners) gives both turrets a +1 WA due to their inherent natural link from being twins, as well as their skill.


Additionally, Seth has started researching Psionics and invested skills in it, this has unlocked so far, two new Psi Powers.
Any further research after this, as well as the imprinting of Veridian gems will require a dedicated PSI Lab.

Invest
Cost to use, 1 per level,
Cost to progress x2 normal IP
This is the power to invest a power you already have or another has into an appropriate object.
the level needed is the level of the psi power to be invested.
(IE investing a level 3 Precognition into a Veridian Gem will also require the use of a level 3 Invest)
This allows a Psionic without the psi power to use said power by invoking the object.
(Researched while studying how the rogue pirates managed to imprint Seths power into gem flakes)

Bind Being
Cost to use, 2 points per level
Cost to progress x 2 normal
Range : 10m per level
Resisted by : Ref
Duration : 2 turns per level (1 additional turn per extra point used)
