 Re: Mekton: Rosetta Eclipse
Ok... So I need to do a follow-up.
Brandt's to-do list: (Before the monastery mission) There's no purpose tearing down the existing crates of crystal... but the idea of a continuous feeder similar to what I told Rage I would make has better potential along with the idea of canister shells for the Pigeon's cannons. First on the to-do is to rig a continuous-growth crystal generator to produce a steady supply of 'chips'. Second is a growth chamber to produce hollow crystalline canister rounds. So, ultimately have an assembly line, producing canister rounds, then filling them...should be able to build a sufficient stock by the time we head down, and the crates can be used as a backup supply.
(Before/during/after, as he can manage) Wing repairs will take time... Ideally before we leave (so that spare crew can work on assembling the necessary components) draw up a schematic for a repair crew to follow, setting up the basic skeleton frame of his wing, as well as thrust assemblies. All-told, the wing consists of an 8K Armored Heavy structure with Medium Striker (4) armor plating, 5MA Thrusters ~20% Space Efficiency (10MA, Fighter class), and L2 Verniers (at 20% Space Efficiency.) Between a deck crew working on assembly and using Mend to complete the structure (an integral part of proper Wolfen engineering, imo,) this hopefully won't take more than a day or two of solid work.
Possibly simpler, possibly more difficult: We need sensors. Even in its wounded state, Corona can support between 15 and 20 spaces (15 is the Kills of structure on the torso, 20 is the original value) on either cargo rack. In either case, this is sufficient to externally mount a Corvette scale sensor. If Pigeon has a backup sensor available, that would be a prime candidate. Alternately, I may have to gather the resources and rig together a sensor suite myself... which will take more time on top of the wing assembly. What is available, and what, possibly, could I rig together into a sufficent sensor suite? This would have to have fairly significant range, and any "extras" such as ASP, Spotting, etc, would be bonus.
Any requisitions he needs to make, per Ragistan, will be made. Surplus components from Pigeon itself included.

 Re: Mekton: Rosetta Eclipse
He shouldn't get kudos for that... In fact, I think he got exactly what he should have for that Bishop! You still haven't sent me any data on our tribal pilot's mecha remnants, nor the salvageable parts from the destroyed tribal mecha I had sent over with the rest of our gear! I need these bits to start working on her replacement.
