Been playing 4E for over a year now. New to this program and 3.0. Will be in GMT-6 until around December 17th. After then I will be moving into GMT-5. During that period until I get settled, I won't be able to play much. I would enjoy and prefer to play either a cleric or a sorcerer, but I'll do whatever you need.

that is a good question. You should first go to the home page of openrpg. type in www dot rpgobjects dot com.

On the right hand side youu will set get open rpg. You need to download the program. 1.8+ standard. Once you have the program on your computer..you should see an openrpg icon on your desktop. That will open up to open rpg. go to game server...click on browse servers. You should then see a bunch of servers by where you can play. We play on the devII server. Click on that and you will be in the lobby of openrpg. We are not playing again until sunday night but play around with the program a bit. Try clicking on openrpg and then clicking in settings. If you go to the chat tab....you will be able to name your character so that other people can see you appear as somebody. good luck!

Alright I understand how to navigate to the server. Most of the other features elude me however. Hopefully your dungeon master won't mind a crash course in the finer points of the OpenRPG program. Is there anything that I need to do to prepare for this game? Create a character? If so, which level?

our cleric moved to a different game earlier on Sunday. He was in europe and the late time was too late for him. So we will surely need a cleric. You might be able to just take over the cleric character that is already made. I suggest you log on sunday night at 9 pm...it would probably work for you to adopt our cleric. The DM is NPCing the cleric right now so you could jump in. You would probably start at level 8 where most of the group is.
