Howdy!

I'm Slait. I'm looking for a DnD game to join. I've played before, but I still consider myself to be new to the game. The DM that brought me into the game played both 3.5 and 4th edition, and one of his issues was that he couldn't play a consistent game, and every two or three weeks we would roll new characters and start a new campaign, leaving our old ones in the air and unfinished. He did that around five times before I was forced to stop for outside reasons.

Unfortunately, I can't find a new DM in the area and my job made it a little hard to physically attend games, so I dropped out of it for a while. But I was watching LordKat.com the other day, and discovered the DnD section of the site. I scooped up the latest version of OpenRPG and I'd be more than happy to join a game and get back into it. Of course, this also means I'm very new to OpenRPG and I might be pretty lost at first. =P

I'm currently available between the hours of 8am and 7pm EST, Any day for now. I will be taking Spring classes at a local college, which may or may not eventually interfere with things. I'm looking for a game that runs once a week. I have the 4th edition Player's Manual and a Monster Manual, but I'm willing to track down a 3.5 manual if needed. I'm also willing to download Skype or Ventrillo if necessary. I have AIM, and I'll give my screen name through PM as needed. I'm not exceedingly picky about the campaign and am willing to conform to most rules within reason.
