
New Pathfiner Game Starting
I'm looking for serious gamers for a Pathfiner game, I bend some of the rules to my will, and add some rules, I like to make the game a lot more intresting, I'll give a few examples, and I also give each class a new ability, and such, I like, to well, "spark" your imagination to say.
I like to make a few additions to combat such as, your AC isn't totally dependable on your armor, it's also modified by your ability to percieve and notice a attack, and further more the ability to defend against it in time.
Example: Lenerd the warrior had been ambushed by three goblins, he had woken immediatly and drew his dagger, wishing he hadn't left his Longsword on his horse, he readied himself, ((Roll attack, and the goblins miss)) The goblins rush forwards, apparently desperate, his blade was a flash, the first goblin was kocked back as he slammed it's spear out of it's hand ((Disarmed, it now has to pick it up, he hit it out of reflex to knock it away, and being stronger than the goblin, knocked it out of it's hand)) His leg kicked out and rammed the second unfoutonate goblin in the chest, sending it sprawling ((Again out of reflex while busy with the spear hi lashed out, so now the goblin would take 1d4 dmg plus his strength mod, but he has to get himself up)) the third goblin had charge from behind, and with a bit of quick thinking, he grabbed the spearless goblin by the hand and hurled him towards the charging goblin, ((Causing the chargin gobling to make a balance check, or fall and the goblin ammo to take falling damage)).
Thats what I mean, also, fire spells and fire like effects will last over time, dealing damage over time, for instance if your a spell cast, depending on what your magic thrives off, for instance a Wizard, his fireball would catch all of the targets on fire if they fail thier saving throw, taking dmg equal to thier level plus thier Intellagance bonus per round for a number of round equal to thier level.
I like to give sorcerers the ability to create a spell rather than fill up a spell slot with another spell, they can attempt to create a spell, the rules for that are not really for players to see haha, but if they fail, that spell slot is lost. Wizards NPCs that you battle will have a chance of having a spell in thier spell book that isnt in the PHB, and clerics have all the spells that they can cast available when theyre high enough level, I mean theyre PRAYERS lolzz, they also have a 5% chance per level to pray for a effect that isnt in the PHB and have it granted by the god, warriors are a diffrent story, as are rouges and such, I'll exlain later, but that's the kind of thing in store for my players, if you're intrested email me at
