Well, turns out that Lando doesn't have the time for another game right now, so he's withdrawn. Keiko Kaijitsu won't be part of the group.

Thanks for the update, though, Reckless. So today we'll probably just have 3-4 players present. If Midnight/Ashi'lie doesn't show up again this week, I might just delay the session until next week so we can have a full group for the remainder of the Brinestump Marsh segment. But I'll wait and see.

based on this list, I will update this later as needed. We currently have a human ranger, two human paladins, a human rogue, an aasimar cleric, and an elven wizard. Might still be open to recruiting one or two more people in case of dropouts, but for now it looks like we have a full group. Lando may be joining soon with a human ninja. could you use another sense Lando no longer has the time, I'm looking to do do a Gunslinger if at all possible, Not sure on race just yet. If your curious about me you can speak to Lando and ask him.

Well, I suppose we could still use one more player in case anyone has to drop out later. The Jade Regent AP does say gunslingers would fit in fine with the campaign, but it should be noted that firearms won't be found as treasure and you'd have little chance of finding any to buy in the Dragon Empires or during the caravan-crossing once it leaves the Lands of the Linnorm Kings. So your gunslinger would have to craft his or her own firearms and create his or her own supply of black powder eventually. The party is in Brinestump Marsh near Sandpoint in Varisia, finishing up the first part of the first adventure in the Adventure Path. At the rate we're going it's likely to take at least another month or two to finish JR-1 The Brinewall Legacy.

Lurana, please post your character so I can review it. After the delays caused by trying to get everyone's characters' checked-in at the start of the 1st session and all, I'm not willing to delay the session for the whole group just to check over a new PC's sheet before adding them to the group. The party should be finishing Brinestump Marsh and moving on in this week's session, starting the first leg of the caravan trip in part 2 of Jade Regent 1: The Brinewall Legacy. So either the new PC would have to join in that session or in 1-2 weeks when the party reaches the Land of the Linnorm Kings for the next part of the module, and it would be highly preferable for the new PC to join before the group leaves Sandpoint.

Class:
Aura of good: The power of a paladin's aura of good (see the detect good spell) is equal to her paladin level.
Detect Evil: At will, a paladin can use detect evil, as the spell. A paladin can, as a move action, concentrate on a single item or individual within 60 feet and determine if it is evil, learning the strength of its aura as if having studied it for 3 rounds. While focusing on one individual or object, the paladin does not detect evil in any other object or individual within range.

Bastion of Good: a sacred shield can call upon the powers of good to defend her and her allies against evil. This ability functions as smite evil, except that the paladin gains no benefit on attack or damage rolls against her target. Instead, any attacks the target makes against allies within 10 feet of the paladin deal half damage. Attacks against the paladin deal full damage, but the paladin gains a deflection bonus to her AC equal to her Charisma bonus (if any) against attacks made by the target of the smite. This bonus increases by +1 for every four paladin levels (to a maximum of +6 at 20th level). As with smite evil, if the paladin targets a creature that is not evil, her bastion of good ability is wasted with no effect. Feats, abilities, and the like that increase a paladin’s number of uses of smite evil per day increase a sacred shield’s uses of bastion of good per day.

Divine Grace: A paladin adds his Cha bonus to all saving throws.

Lay on hands: A paladin gains the ability to heal. It is a standard action unless he uses it on himself then it is a swift action. He can use this ability onehanded. He can use this ability equal to half his paladin lvl plus his cha modifier (currently 4). His heal heals 1d6 for every 2 paladin levels he has.
