Post GM Pathfinder/3.5 Currently Recruiting Closed
I am planning on running a Pathfinder campaign in Varisia. This will be a balanced crunch and fluff campaign, between RP and fighting. I encourage experienced players as well as newcomers to make submissions. Players will begin as a group (established reason for the group will be settled at the first session) in the village of Sirathu http://pathfinder.wikia.com/wiki/Sirathu. The Pathfinder Wiki has many ideas for background lore.

Players begin at level 7. You can do standard 32 point buy or roll during our first session. Also, I forgot to add earlier...money at level 7 is 23,500 gold. You may purchase what you can afford.

References allowed include PRD from http://paizo.com/pathfinderRPG/prd/ and any Pathfinder books published by Paizo. No 3rd party books, please.

Alignment should be chaotic neutral to lawful good.

All character concepts need to be submitted for approval either here in the forum, via PM, or at my email address cymricroewan@yahoo.com. I would like to preview character sheets. Also, please include a paragraph or two about each: physical description, background, character motivation. In your post suggest two date/time options that would work for you to play.

Our first session will involve players communicating with each other to decide how their characters are tied together as a group, make introductions, and play together a little to get a feel for the game. We will also be rolling ability scores for those who didn’t choose a point buy.

Once we have a group of 4-6, we will begin discussing times to meet that coincide with everyone's schedule as best we can.

Looking forward to reading your submissions.

Current slots filled:
Cleric/Wizard/Mystic Theurge by Rat_Bastard
Gunslinger by Starchaserva
Rogue by Riodrian
Barbarian by Telefax
Paladin by Flamestar

32 point buy using the Pathfinder rules? Or the standard 3.5 rules? It makes a difference. =) And what rolling method is being used should someone take that option?

Regardless, I would like to play. Been looking for a Pathfinder game that actually used the setting Paizo had made. Sounds awesome!

Yes, rat...that means no evil.

Riordrian, as far as point buy goes, it will be 32 point buy using Pathfinder rules. If you choose to roll, you can pick whichever of the three rolling methods you choose, Standard, Classic, or Heroic (though I found that standard seemed to be a better option) and make two sets of rolls, selecting one of those sets. If you choose to roll and your rolls are poor, the point buy will still be an option.

I hope that answers any questions. Let me know if you have any others :)

Traits:
Are traits allowed?
If so how many may we take?
Can we take the same trait twice?
Is the Optional Feat "Extra Traits" allowed?

Guns:
what tech level are we with when we are talking about firearms?

Leadership:
How do you feel about the leadership feat? I was kinda of thinking of having a band of gyps-er Varsians following me around along with a monster cohort mount, I was wondering what your thoughts on this would be.

Are we supposed to be pro or anti-Cheliax in this game?

I'm definately interested; been looking for a pathfinder campaign that actually uses the official setting. Probably going to make a Magus (hate that name so much... swordmage :P), wanted to try that out since they leaked it.

I'm interested. I'll roll up a basic bard and e-mail it over to you. Just need to know the HP rules. Looking forward to the game :D

I would like to try out the new gunslinger class if available in your game...if not, I'd like to try out the ninja as something different than the normal rogue.

I'm also feeling froggy and would like to try rolling scores just to spice it up some...lol
