Hey everyone, well I'm checking to see if there is any interest in a gritty fantasy game set in the A Song of Ice and Fire universe. I'd run it with the free Riddle of Steel quickstart rules (found here). If there is interest, I'd like to meet with you all so we can discuss the exact specifics of what you'd want out of the game (ie, whether it'd be more sandboxy or scripted plots, politics to combat ratio and so on). Time and day I'm flexible on, but I'd prefer either afternoons or late night, either weekly or every other week. |

Great idea. SoFI is one of my favorite fantasy series and I'm one of those eagerly awaiting next year's HBO series based on it. Low fantasy, lots of political background, mercenary setting (perhaps the civil war between Daeron and Deamon). |

How come you're using Riddle of Steel instead of the Song of Ice and Fire RPG made by Green Ronin? I haven't played it yet, but it looks pretty good - much better than the Game of Thrones RPG that ran off d20. Either way, I'm interested, just curious on the above. |

Honestly, it's because I'm more familiar with the Riddle of Steel and I have wanted to use it for a ASoIaF game for a long time now. |
