Post Re: modern/future game
realized i'm more interested in playing the anime-style games, so it's either d20 future or M&M.

d20 future:an alien race has invaded our solar system, so a worldwide draft has come into effect to get the manpower to fight them.
*start at lvl 1 in a training facility (mostly rp, some simulated combats and training excercises)
*PL7 personal gear and cybernetics are available at the standard +5pdc
*military ocupations get normal wealth, but are able to get all personal gear up to DC20 for free (including gadgets/defects and the +5DC for PL7 gear, so a plasma pistol that deals 2d10-1 damage is free, dc17+5-2reduced damage defect=20)
*civilian occupations get max wealth at lvl 1 and can take 10 on all level wealth checks since they were drafted.
*biodroids must have the rogue robot feat, unless they want to be a PC controlled NPC (i tell you what to do and you do it)
*everyone will undergo genetic therapy for their first classes primary stat (fast-dex, smart-int, etc)

M&M:fairly basic superheroish game, 120pp PL8 teens/new recruits

I'd be interested in a M&M game and could do Friday nights, a couple others maybe, after 8pm (eastern). (Not Sat or Tues though)

I'm not very experienced with the system but I love the genre.

I really like the d20 idea you have, just hope we can work out the date.

i think there might be confusion on the timing...GMT it's thu, sun, mon. america's wed, sat, sun.

so far it looks about half and half wed or weekend (i'm on pacific time, just to clarify), so i'm thinking d20 future on wed and M&M sat-sun (whichever more people can make). starting time's tentatively 10pm EST.

Can't do Sat' but Sun is possible. However 10pm is too late to start for me (unless we're only intending to play 2 - 2 and half hours...which is insane).

Ah well.

Well if your still doing this both sound interesting though I'd really love to do the M&M. Time really isn't an issue for me but I'd love to be a part of that group.
