Another D&D player looking to join a game. Long time player, punctual, reliable, and I love the game. Free on weekends only, preferably at night (Eastern time zone). I'm dying to get something going. |

More than likely not. Most DnD players hate 4e, I have been playing since 2e and am not that fond of the system myself. If you want to join a group I have one getting geared up for 2e starting after the first of the year. |

You might try the openrpg server Blackstar... They play a lot of 4th edition there, mostly RPGA which is Living Forgotten Realms these days, but it is 4th edition. |

To be honest 4e is WoW in all respects, I play DnD to play DnD not WoW. |

I'd actually be interesting in 4e DnD as I am a new player to tabletop rpgs and just picked up the book. I've looked at other rule sets like OSRICC and BasicRPG, it all seems the same to me. I say the simpler the rules are, the better as it gives you more time for role-playing and less time worrying if you are playing it right or no. Though what do I know. Just an opinion, I'll wait for the flames saying i'm a nubb to start. |

They have their own economy, their own world, and a ton of players dedicated to their system. WotC has this wet dream that they will somehow become WoW; don't think so. WotC is trying to make WoW money by dumbing down D&D so that the least common denominator can play. They bought the rights to D&D, it's their choice how to run it. Personally I will stick with 2.0 and 3.5. Like I said, if you want 4.0, go to the Blackstar server and ask around, they play lots of LFR there. Best of Luck Athos |
