 Need Pathfinder DM and Players!
I need a group of players and a DM for a level 1 campaign for Pathfinder.

You do it. And suddenly there will be a thousand players.

If you would like a game to start sooner rather than later, you'll have to GM it yourself. It takes real work to put together a good story and create a good game experience for everybody (including yourself). There are less people inclined to do that, than there are players.

I beg to differ, I'm ALWAYS putting up posts for DMing a game, and NO ONE responds AT ALL!

And if you're not ready to commit to a long, hard slog, then it'll be more of the same. I have one very successful game that's been running for over 8 years on OpenRPG. I have a second game that's starting up again in mid-April after having gone on a four-month break. In the past, I've gone through several dry spells where I couldn't even get a single interested player, probably because of some combination of using 2nd edition AD&D rules, playing in a home-brew setting and preferring an RP-centered game. But I've stuck with it and slowly built a group of committed, devoted players, and the results speak for themselves. For example, for my Saturday game, I recently filled the last available spot and now have a group of seven that meets every week. I just posted an ad for my Friday game that I'm going to start again at the end of April. Do I expect players to immediately come out of the woodwork, especially for a game that's not going to start until four weeks from now? Hell no! One thing I am sure of though, is that there will be interested players who will approach me sometime in the future. That's who I'm counting on. I'm in it for the long haul. What Starmage21 is saying is that you too can be a successful DM. It just takes committment. You have to want to do it, even when there isn't any interest.

Rone, we have spoken on IM a few times, and I know you are a very committed and creative DM, but you like to make games that are 90% house rules. Most players I think shy away from that. I know when I play a game of D&D for example, I am looking forward to playing D&D, not some guy out in cyberspace's version of an RPG, but the actual version that has been playtested and has people that play it. It makes it worse that your house rules aren't even written down and consolidated somewhere for people to read, but they must learn them as they go along. That is just too much to ask of most players. My suggestion for you... advertise for a game that is strictly by the book. No house rules, no special abilities for pcs and mosnters, no special weapons or items to start with, just a regular old RPG in a regular setting. Come up with a subset of the books, the ones you understand and are comfortable with, and restrict characters to those books. Get a group together for that, run the game for a while, get people used to your DMing and then, when you have a loyal following, you can start introducing your house rules, your character abilities, etc. At that point your players will know you, and be able to tell you honestly whether they like the new stuff or not. This is just my 2 cents worth, hope it helps and I hope you don't give up. Gaming needs creative people.

Haha I noticed that Athos, but lately I've been putting up games that are only 5% house rules, and, well, no one replies still, however I do have a group of dedicated players that put up with my house rules, but I like to have new players, to be pleasently surprised and such.

You really should post the time and place and even room name of your game.
I know you told me Wednesday night, but that covers a lot of territory....
