We're still waiting for a GM to come in and take the reigns Bleak. so currently it's all just player interest.

Maybe it would be nice for us to get together and hash out character concepts a bit while we wait. No reason to let things get stagnant and interest to wain while we wait for a gm to show.

My mistake, I thought DemonAlucard was GM'ing based on Lando's post. If that is not the case, I withdraw my objection. Also, I would fully support getting together to discuss things, see how it goes, etc.

By all means go for it fellas, but personally I'd rathe rnot go through the investment of making a character i might not even get to play :(

I've made way too many shadowrun characters that end their career that way.

So if no one steps forward to be GM, are we just giving up? Or is someone in this thread remotely capable/willing to be GM?

If 4th edition is all that and a bag of chips, then someone will step forward I am sure, so don't worry.

But if you are interested in some old school Shadowrun, specifically 3rd edition, I will be running a 3rd edition game on Friday nights after the first of the year, if you are interested go to:

Not only is there one GM, but we have an assistant to stand in for the times that I can't be there.

I know most people think that the latest version is the greatest version and therefore the one they want to play. But if you have played the first three versions of shadowrun, they are all similar and you will do well.

I'm going to run a 4ed Shadowrun game. My post is on this forum page. It wont start until after the holidays. I have two players interested so far.

Let me know if you are still interested. I recommend you pick out what character type you wish to play in your first posting.

As a player of both systems, 4e *is* much more streamlined and way less riddled with redundancies. (TN7 anyone?)

also hacking. Too many people just ignored deckers completely in 3e because they were too much hassle. Now I can run hacking events along side regular world events like combat seamlessly.
