My group has currently: A Palladium Fantasy game using the Tri-Stat dX system set in the Northern Wilderness. So far we have a human fire warlock that is the heir to a Western Empire kingdom that was taken over by a coup, a goblin cobbler mind mage that is a klepto, and a human vampire and undead hunter who is a follower of the Vampire God (is out to kill all vampires and undead who are not made with sanctions of the church) and is looking for a way to turn vampires back into mortal humans. It is being ran on Tuesdays from 11am to 3pm central on OpenRPG. http://rpgaming.prophpbb.com/forum374.html There are also 3 alternate history games in the works, where we are deciding on which days and times the most people would be available for. The first is a WW2 Spies games, which might be more of a American vs Japan side of the war thing instead of the more popular "Killin' Nazi's!" aspect of the war. Very gritty and realistic game. http://rpgaming.prophpbb.com/topic4880.html The second is a Samurai vs Ninja game, where the peasants are uprising against their leaders through the Ninja clans. Gritty but also heroic as the person GMing this game is allowing magical weapons along the line of traditional Japanese thought that certain forging processes gave certain blades magical properties. http://rpgaming.prophpbb.com/topic4882.html The third is a supers game set in the American Civil War. The GM is thinking of an X-Men-type of explanation in regards to the supers: mutants. Very low technology, supers are completely unknown, ect. Starting off gritty with the possibility of going Superman. http://rpgaming.prophpbb.com/topic4881.html There are currently 3-4 players for each of the Alternate History games, but more would be welcome. |

We've moved the Palladium Fantasy game to Wednesdays, 1pm to 5pm central. |

I would probably be interested in any of the games. I mostly playes GURPS games and only live, so this would be a new for mem but would be interested in any of the games available to see how this goes and hopefully if it sticks to play for a not so short time. |

I typically run year long + campaigns, so it wont be short if I got players to play. We are on Blackstar Server today if you want to lurk. |

Sounds good and would be indeed interested to lurk. Since as described, I am new to the technicalities of this type of play, could you give me some hints of what would I need to get on the Blackstar Server and when would the game actually commence. |

Sorry about the slow response. First dl OpenRPG, the Traipse version. Then Game Server > Servers Find the server you want on the list and double click on it Find the game title you want on the right and double click on it. Enter a password if it asks. thats about it. |
