Do we have e-mail addresses for these 3, Lando? Depending on we find out in regard to these players and how you feel about it, I'm pretty sure I could grab a couple players from RPG.net if needed/wanted. Nope, no emails or nothing beyond a pm from Amaraxis over a week ago prior to the holiday.

 Re: MERP RPG (1 opening)
Cool. I think there's also a penalty to OB associated with the arm greaves. I'll be playing a half-elven warrior, and should have my PC ready in the next day or two. When are we scheduled for our first game session?
How are body development points handled? There is a nice progression chart in Rolemaster that gives BDP based on ranks & race. It's pretty neat as some races are tougher than others and hence, their BDP reflect it instead of having a random roll decide. Any opinions on the matter?

Half-Elven is fine. First session will likely be in a couple of weeks, once I get 4 or more pcs and finals are over. Body Development is described in detail with examples. You get 1d10 for each rank in Body Development, plus your prof/stat/racial bonuses per the rules in MERP 2e.

So I guess you don't want to use the RM way of handling BDP's. Bummer.

I'm cool with whatever the party goes with. Just thought it might be a good idea to selectively borrow some of RM's good points. But it really doesn't make much difference to me.

holiday time....busy... Doesn't hurt to have 2 warriors in MERP it is a violent world afterall. No problem, we'll probably start after the 12th.

 Re: MERP RPG (1 opening)
That's right. Think how many fighters were in the Dragonlance group: Flint, Tanis, Caraman (not to mention Sturm & Riverwind). That's 3 (or 5) out of 8 (Goldmoon, Raistlin & whatshisname the kender thief...)
Another question: is there a point in having the total for wearing armor to be higher than 0? I.e. Does a positive number help in anyway, or should I leave it at zero?

 Re: MERP RPG (1 opening)
In terms of Moving Maneuver bonus? Yes. The positive number would be added as a bonus when performing Moving Maneuvers in that particular type of armor.
