i am trying to get into the game but OpenRPG keeps locking up on me. i am trying to fix the issue.

I got disconnected and it won't reconnect, guess I'll sit this one out.

I got disconnected too. Bane's server might have crashed. Hopefully he'll reboot it.

Ok, for a reason I can't quite fathom... My computer shut down on me and won't restart (using the wife's comp). It goes to the bootloader then shuts down... I will get this issue resolved asap... I suggest we try this again next week, same time... If some (or all) of you want to bail, I completely understand but I REALLY want to get this game going.

Maybe it was the MASS amounts of players we had or i dunno, but hell... I am really sorry... If it is the mass amounts of players, maybe we should divide into 2 groups NOW as opposed to later...

These things happen. It's unfortunate, but I'm perfectly willing to try again next week.

would it be easier just to use one of the existing servers?

I can recommend several good servers to run games on, been running games on Open a long time (and I've run SW in the past too). If you're going to host your own server you need to be able to handle some bandwidth...

I can only do the night game for the time being at least for the next week. Then my job layoff begins and I continue my hunt..

I'm on Veav I at the moment in the lobby.

I run a private server for my Saturday D&D game but it's on a separate PC on my home network rather than on my desktop or laptop that's running the OpenRPG client.
