hehe....it is the same CODA system used in the Star Trek game we used to play but with Tolkien-esque elements added. I find the magic system in the Decipher game much more true to Tolkien that what I've seen thus far in Rolemaster but it is very personal to every person how they see it.

Ah, I see. Well I'll give it a look over since I don't have any of the books. Although, if nothing else I suppose my Trek books could help me wing it or the generic CODA rules I have as well.

I haven't played MERP in about 15 years. Its really hard to find players who are interested in the RM-ish type game. I'd love to give this a shot.
A little about me: 39 year old family dad who's been RPing for the last 21+ years. Mainly D&D. What I'm really looking for is to create a character that has a place in the world (or will have one) and not just a dungeon delver looking for loot to buy his next magical item.
I'd like to play once a week, but due to time zone difference, it would help if the game took place at around early noon EST (like 2PM) on the weekend (Sat/Sun).
