That Eidolon alone is roughly equal to my PC as a warrior. And I made a TWF swashbuckler with a flaming +1 rapier. Only slightly better than the Eidolon in combat if he manages to flank an opponent for 2d6 bonus damage with Thrust. And my PC doesn't have spells or the like to back him up. Just a few skills. No pounce, push, or fire immunity either.

Nonetheless, I'll try him out and see if it's still worth playing the Swashbuckler.....

However, I do have 3 important questions: what server are we meeting on, how are we determining HP (rolls, max, half-max, average, max for 1st and rolled for others, etc.?), and which XP progression are we using (fast, slow, or medium)?

HP: Max at 1st, 3/4 (Rounded Down) after that
XP Progression: Uhh...not sure yet.

Thanks Remember, looking for a little anonymity when it comes to character stats. It's much better to describe your character as strong, swift, healthy, smart, wise, or social/cunning than to use the numbers, same with skills and attacks and such.

Thank you so much, Robert! I did get the node! But, I'm having to "re-learn" Open all over again, and haven't reacquainted myself with practically all of the higher functions (I never used them much even before when I was gaming in Open regularily). If we could still set up a time (perhaps you could give me a crash course?), I'd be extremely grateful.

Looks like OpenRPG Dev II is down/offline again (probably just temporary as usual). What server should we use as a backup?

Good question, any other than veav. I still have alot of trouble with that one.

Edit: well, rather than hang out here and keep refreshing the window every minute or so, I'm gonna go hang out on the blackstar server.
