At which point we need to worry about getting staff to feed and keep them while we're off adventuring, as is our habit. I suggest you summon and bind demons into extended periods of service for this. Or elementals, if you're not a fan of infernal critters.

While a staff is certainly needed I would like to point out that Ty has the leadership feat and would get a nice bonus for having a base of operations.

Besides, leadership is neat, I may take the feat sometime.

You crazy guys and your 'leadership', and 'rapport with the common man' and respect for the rights of all living things. So strange. :D

Yes, how strange of us not to want to kill everything we meet. We can't all play the homicidal ranger, some of us actually have interpersonal skills :P

I can't wait till some wacky guy wants to play a lawful evil character and you get along with it.

At least he won't be trying to kill everything. Also you forget the radiation beams of certain doom that Paladins emit from their eyes towards anything evil (i.e detect evil).

Well, I could see getting along with an LE character for a while, but in the long run our goals are probably too different. And thus would they be killed. Unless they're LE in the sense that they're striving for a noble goal but willing to do horrible things to do it. In which case, I'd probably help and attempt to reign in the horrible parts. Which would wind up with us all being neutral, I guess.

No because someone doing a noble cause but going the wrong way about it is normally true neutral or neutral chaotic, Lawful evil is having a bad goal but being deceptively good/within the law to achieve it...

Actually Hider I was thinking of someone among the lines of the blackguard in the most recent Oots.

I don't know. I could easily see a lawful evil, or maybe even neutral evil, character with heroic goals in the grand scheme of things, like maybe saving all sentient life from something, but still unequivocally evil due to their way of going about it. But that would just be harder to play convincingly.

I see what you mean, Az, pragmatic evil. Yeah, he's pretty cool and if Ty ever falls from grace thats what im aiming up to be. Prob is that someone whos evil like that would have to be someone like Aearon with either a grudge against some other evil being or saw us as a means to power.

And no, I still maintain that someone working for a good cause i.e a well intentioned extremist, is neutral chaotic/neutral their aims are good but they have no regard for the method which it is achieved.
