Re: Barbarians of Lemuria CONAN anyone?
The storms are starting now. Apparently it is supposed to be pretty bad. Several counties are under severe thunderstorm warnings all night and Perry County is having flash floods right now. The emergency broadcast system interrupted a radio program I was listening to in order to ask residents in Perry County to move to higher ground for their own protection.

Well, that doesn't sound good, you be safe. We'll try again another time.

I am holding on for just a bit longer to try to make a decision on whether we can play or not. I really want to get this game in, especially since we have had a couple of cancellations lately....one was for the holiday though.
Jennifer told me over the cell phone her cable is already out.

Yeah, we have been getting hit harder than usual this Summer. My poor dog is scared of storms so he has been a nervous wreck all Summer.
On better news, I purchased a 200 pg tome of adventures specifically written for Conan-style sword & sorcery for our game and I am getting rdy to buy their vol 2 for even more fun!

Re: Barbarians of Lemuria CONAN anyone?
The full brunt of the storm hasn't hit yet here in my area. Should we risk it and see if we can make it? I'd just hate to lose power in the middle of the game and have it knock us out in the middle of a combat or something and lose all my work.

I'd like to play but I can understand if you are concerned about the game being cancelled by Mother Nature mid-session...

Well, not knowing what Mother Nature will do, its probably best to just play it safe. I hate delaying too, but have done so for when its storming here, you never know what'll happen.

I will play it safe I guess and try again next Monday. I sooooo badly want to move on with this adventure. I have some cool things lined up for future adventures I really badly want to get to.
