Saturday? But in my thread you said it was on Fridays, or is this a different game?

My apology, it's been a stressful week. This game is on Saturday night, I typed that response late at night and got it mixed up with my Rifts game on Fri nights.

What race/class, etc. is Grithnir and his companion again? Adding this all to my list.

Wow, sorry, lol. I did not notice that was listed on the update. Apologies and all that.

I have ads up at like 3 different sites and I'll send an e-mail to my players from my Friday night face-to-face group about the game.

One quick note about leveling up to everyone: It generally takes 3 DPs put into a skill to improve that skill by 2 ranks when leveling. Perception is an odd ball because you can dump leftover DPs from any other skill category into it, however, it still costs 3 DPs to increase Perception by 2 ranks. I wanted to make sure of this and got confirmation from some Rolemaster players elsewhere. It was a tad confusing as to if this was indeed the case at first because the description for Perception says "on a one to one basis."

Just for your convenience all and simply more proof that Lando has won me over on MERP 2e/Rolemaster. :D

Maltar, did you get your character sheet fixed and regain all your info about your skills, etc? I also recommend we redo your stat potentials and actual gains since the OpenRPG dice roller is horrible and that night completely trashed you. You would have had nearly no potentials and no gains. I recommend you use real dice and we re-do it again over Skype when you have the time. Do you own a D100 or 2 d10s?

You're very correct by Perception. As you noticed, its a *very* useful skill iln MERP. The DP costs and figuring out ranks, takes a little getting used to, but the math is a lot easier than say Hero/Champions. The nice thing about Rolemaster is its a highly detailed generic system that you can do fantasy, modern, space/future type rpgs with. They made enough supplements and additional material that you can do whatever you want with it. The critical tables and the like can be fun when your kicking butt, but hurt when you get smacked.
