Re: All Flesh Must Be Eaten - Zombie Horror Survival -
As for my current group, keep in mind the time has changed to 7pm est start. XP was 2 pts total over the course of both days.
And since I am already typing, I might as well throw in a small introduction to the next session.
A safe haven is found, but its nothing that you could have imagined. A sick macabre world of desire gone wrong, as the last hope of survival is twisted into an image of chaos. Possible allies, or enemies, that can span across states are built, as social drama intensifies into a possible showdown. Teaming up with possible allies, a new world opens up, as a search for life, ends up in a dark and dangerous journey through the underground tunnels of New York City, and whats waiting underneath these abandoned tunnels is a threat far greater than the dead themselves.

Re: Savage Worlds -Zombie Run Chronicles- (formely afmbe group)
Space for one (possibly 2) more players are avaliable. Total player count is 5 at the momment. You can email me at ammo312@ msn . com, PM me, or drop a reply below.
This is zombie horror survival using the Savage Worlds rule-set on the maptools program (started in openrpg, if I can get the card dealer to work here I might attempt to switch it back to openrpg, but so far no luck). Game is heavily influenced on The Walking Dead Comic.
Heres a quick run-down of session notes, this isnt done for dramatic narrative effect. This is the minimum I can space on this post so that potential players can have an idea about whats happened so far.
Supply and Demand: Players head out from there safe barricaded office building in midtown on a hunch that a Triad was rumoured to sell illegal firearms under a fish market in downtown. The Players race out, armed with barely anything of use, they club, impale, and chainsaw their way to the market. After sneaking up on the Triad, who is still alive and holding off in the basement, they knock him out and rob him blind...
A Way Out: the roar of the chainsaw, and the players racing toward the market in the open, has sent a wave of the dead to pile up for miles around the building. They force the young triad to blurt out details of an old escape tunnel hes been using to funnel food, which once was used to serve as a tunnel to send weapons and drugs into the city during his triad days. They retreat into the tunnel, and end up in a safe haven operated by untrustworthy armed men, all somewhat loyal to the Triad. A few bad social rolls later, they wake up to a 2 floor gun battle, which results in a lot of bodies, and one escaped enemy, Pools. In the end they gain the trust of a man who is offering a helicopter ride out of NYC in return for help to find his daughter.
Sewers: they travel through dark subways, cult infested sewer tunnels filled with escaped zoo animals that made their way out of the central park zoo, all in attempts to avoid the army of the dead above. In the end, they find out Pepics daughter has been captured, by what seems to be someone who is aligned with the man they fought it out with earlier in the safe haven (Pools). Pools has become a huge threat, as he is one of the last known "kingpin" survivors in the city, whos influence stretches far into the city of the dead.
The Next Night: After a quick scavange through the city, they head back into the safe barricaded office building and plan out their next move to save Pepics daughter, and finish the fight with Pools. After learning that the cult they faced in the sewers is a bigger threat then they first imagined (via video through a power supply), they head out to gather more supplies, stopping at a street to gather up liquor (lol) and water (plus theirs a store they completely ignored) they end up shooting it out in the streets with the armies of the dead who are now have growing into a deadly division of zombies a mile wide (which might be too much to handle since there are at least 40 to 50 of them on screen, hence why I want some new recruits to come in and break open some zombie heads so the odds can shift a bit). KEY POINTS They are one day away from the attempt to save Pepics daughter.
Food and water is just as vital as ammo.
Everything from shoe laces, to cans are horded and stored.
Getting out of NYC is priority. Once that happens, a whole new experience opens up, which I hope happens when the veteran players (ray, felix and Jonah, reach seasoned level)
The group is good at melee combat, ranged, electronics, and have some healing and some stealth. They could use someone who has farming skills (if they ever escape out of NYC alive), heavy demolitions, vehicles and machinery skills, construction (building walls to keep out the dead) and animal training (raising animals as watch dogs, herding cattle, raising horses for transportation etc.) and some social skills.
Group Ray: A former militant who tends to be one of the best ranged experts in the group. Also the groups appointed mouthpeice. Felix: An ex-biker who is well trained in smashing heads with bats and chainsaws... and really likes beer and noise. Versatile in melee and in ranged. Jonah: The electronic tech wiz in the group, recently started focusing on better combat abilities as he leveled... but keep him away from cars. Will: Well trained in the katana, hes one of the first to charge into a horde and slice them, dealing more than double their total health values. Also dabbles in electronics, healing, and stealth. kaide: I havent heard from him in a while, but hes the sleathiest in the group when his rolls arent cursed, also has rogue-like skills that can open locks, plus hes a good shooter and has heals.
Everyone is a survivor. Trust is there, but its based on the circumstances. Friendly rivalry exists between Ray, Felix and Will in their zombie kill count, but all the fun and games stopped last game where zombies massed wall to wall, and now for the first time they are crapping in their pants. I expect survival, hunting, tracking, specific knowledge skills, electronics and other trades to outshine combat in future games.

Ok, create a character and add 5 free xp (good enough for one advance). Try to steer him/her to whats needed, but you have freedom to create whatever, so if you have a concept and feel strong about it, then go with that.

Glad to have you on board Daedalus. You'll find the life in a world of Unlife, rather enjoyable to say the least.
