Let's see..I'll be on Open from 3-4 Mountain time (or 5-6 EST) on Tuesday. If I calculated that wrong, go with the EST time (which is GMT -5)

Blast! There was a session of another game that I play in today and though I intended to open a 2nd window to talk to ya at 3, I got too caught up in RPing my char and forgot all about it till just now when we finished.

This other game normally runs on sats, but a mini-session was scheduled today to tie up a few loose ends.

Sorry about that, and can we reschedule?

What day & time does this game happen on again? I've had several schedule changes recently. I might have time to play now.

Wow, I must be some special kind of stupid tonight as I cannot for the life of me figure out how to PM you. In my defense, it is late and I've been on my feet all day. However, I would very much love to show you my sheet as this game sounds very nice and just my cup of tea.

I hope you are still looking, perhaps if you PM'd me, I could reply with my sheet? I feel so silly for now knowing how to do this (and I've tried composing a message, but wasn't even presented with a form to fill in, let alone send).

Thanks so much.

If you look at the bottom of anyone's post here, you'll see a TEENY, TINY button with tiny text saying PM. That's the Private Message button. Annoyingly small, I know.

I should have some kind of character sheet submitted by private message sometime on Thursday. I'll check on OpenRPG then too, just in case.

Arora, only things I can think of are the Mythweavers website or DNDsheets website, but with those you'd have to send the link to your sheet's URL. It doesn't take long to type up a basic text-sheet yourself though to send by PM or e-mail. You can check the Pathfinder SRD online if you don't have the book, anyway. I'll PM you a sample text-sheet template you can copy and paste for your own use, roughly based on the T13K character sheet since I've been using it so long.

They are right, heh. Although, Moon, I had that problem for a bit myself, took me forever before it would appear so I could PM Ark.

I will be on Open around 4:00-4:10 PM EST, DEV II Server, Room AQ's Pathfinder. If you can get your sheets around by then I'll take a look, answer any questions, and (if we have enough people) possibly get some introductory stuff out of the way.

At the moment all I have are two wizard sheets (an anti-caster battle-type wizard and a utility wizard) so arcane casters are highly discouraged at this point. I'd recommend everyone go through their sheet and make sure it's been Pathfinder-ified. Some things to note:

1. All casters prepare or know their 0-level spells as usual, except that they can cast those spells an infinite number of times each day (obviously once per round though).

2. Rogues now get some interesting "tricks" which are somewhat like feats but allow you to specialize your rogue.

3. Wizards/Sorcerers get either Specialty School powers (or Universality powers if not specialized) or bloodline powers, don't forget to include those.

4. Fighters get armor and weapon training that increases their effectiveness.

5. Clerics get a channeled ability that either heals or deals damage.

Etc. etc. Just make sure you've gone over your class to make sure you've got all your goodies (d20pfsrd.com is the Pathfinder SRD)

Also note that the skills have changed. Now you only get Class ranks + Int per level, not (Class ranks + Int) x 4 at first. You can invest in ANY skill at a 1-1 rank ratio and take up to your level in ranks in any one skill. If any of the classes (or PrCs) that you use list a skill as a class skill, you get a +3 bonus to the skill as long as you invest at least 1 rank into that skill. Also, some skills have been condensed/removed. For example, Perception is the new skill that does everything Listen/Search/Spot did before.

You get feats at 1, 3, 5, 7 now as well instead of 1, 3, 6. Ability score increases are unaffected.

Your race gives you 2 +2 ability score bonuses and 1 -2 penalty (Note: Humans and Half-Elves get +2 to any one ability score of their choice and no penalty).

Hmm...can't think of much else, my brain's shutting down. Oh! Magic items! Some of them have changed slightly to make ambiguous cases more clear. For example, a +2 Headband of Vast Intelligence gives you +2 to Int but ALSO full ranks in 1 skill. The Ring of Sustenance allows a caster to prepare spells once from Midnight to Midnight, but the caster only has to sleep for 2 hours instead of the required 8 (this takes effect after the ring's been worn a week). Stuff like that you just need to make sure your items work the way you think they do, although most of the skills, feats, items etc. are exactly the same as 3.5

Catch ya all at 4-5 PM EST!
