Also, I'm really sorry for the recent misses. It is an odd fact of my life that I get these streaks of horrible luck all at once.
EDIT: Unless more xp was awarded after the last session, I currently have 5550, but I had an extra 50 for my backstory, so 5500 base. I've had my share of bad luck so I know how it goes. I'm actually fixing/rebuilding/upgrading my stepdaughter's pc as her desktop died (was my old one) and the used laptop I gave her is near dead too.. For my graduate studies I bought this laptop, it rocks really good and I recommend it if you want high end quality, but it is $800 price range give or take some rebates. I bought an external mouse to go with it since I hate touchpad (but the touchpad is pretty good). HP Pavilion dv7-4060us Entertainment Notebook PC I believe I gave 100 xp last session concerning the rping/fighting the genestealers/mutants (and a battle tomorrow still too). So 5600 xp or so I believe, unless there is more I forgot about.

Not sure how long you guys have played for! It's 1600 past the base. They've gone through one complete adventure and are about 1/2 to 3/4th's done with this second adventure.

Re: Rogue Trader 40K (Recruiting 2 spots)
excluding the initial 500 for character creation, we have received 2100 expereriance. RT characters start with 4500 points + an inital sum of 500 for a total of 5k.

Probably won't make it tonight. I have a family issue I have to deal with. Sorry, everybody.

Re: Rogue Trader 40K (Recruiting 2 spots)
I figured this was the case, but the computer lab rules prohibit installing any software, i.e., OpenRPG. Thus I have no way to make tonight's game. I don't want to impinge on anyone else's fun, but I'd prefer not to miss too many sessions and thus ask: If not this week's game, might it be possible to postpone next week's session or declare an early holiday break?
I realize that this would be an imposition, so another alternative might be just to receive the logs and then send Lando my plans for the next game. I realize you don't like to NPC characters, Lando, but I'm not really seeing another way to interact until I return home to my desktop or acquire a new laptop.

If you have like a datastick or some form of transportable memory, then you could possibly install open onto that and then run it off the disk at the computer labs.

I tried it to see if it would work and it does, hahaha. Thats pretty cool. The system needs to have the basic python stuff installed on it, but most windows computers do.

I'll give that a try for next week as the lab computers do have python installed for CS students. Why didn't I think of this before? *facepalm*
