Re: Who's interested in a weeknight PF AP game (7-10PM Centr
OK, a couple of things:
I just exchanged a few PMs with Rone and apparently his/her home and work situation have shattered and reformed into a form that will no longer be able to play with us on Tuesday nights. For him its Monday or weekend nights or nothing so Zel is dancing and singing around Oleg's starting fires and playing with fey while an increasingly distressed Oleg follows her with a fire extinguisher.
Until we replace Zel or her player can be brought back we will be dividing treasure into 6 shares, I have adjusted the shares in the forum last session accordingly.
We have two adventures to turn in but I say we explore a little more as we are about a day out and fully provisioned anyway and I want to explore the map as thoroughly as possible before butting heads with the Stag Lord because he's scary.
I think next session we should have our trackers looking for boar and tatzlwyrm tracks so we might track down tuskgutter or one or more of those wyrms or both while we continue to flesh out this side of the map, we have enough food for 19 days and plenty to do. Here are all of the quests we have that we know about:
Wanted: Falgrim Sneeg
Source: Kesten Garess, at Oleg’s Trading Post
Task: A mercenary Kesten worked with months ago was a Varisian man named Falgrim Sneeg. Falgrim robbed the group and fled into the Greenbelt to become a bandit, and Kesten hopes to catch him alive and return him to Restov for punishment.
Completion: Capture Falgrim Sneeg, alive if possible.
Reward: Kesten can arrange a reward of four masterwork weapons of the capturer’s choice if Falgrim is delivered alive. If he’s delivered dead, Kesten can only promise two weapons.
Source: Wanted poster at Oleg's Trading Post
Task: The way everyone talks about tatzlwyrms, one might think they're swarming throughout the Stolen Lands. This isn't the case; they're actually quite rare. A tatzlwyrm head would be a great conversation piece at Oleg's. He has promised a reward for anyone who can deliver one.
Completion: Slay a tatzlwyrm and deliver its head.
Reward: Oleg will pay 600 gp for a relatively undamaged tatzlwyrm head.
Note: Apparently a Tatzlwyrm is a dragon of sorts, so it can also be skinned and made into armor. Oleg wants a head, I want a hide. - CairneSource: Wanted poster at Oleg's Trading Post
Task: Every Greenbelt hunter has a story about Tuskgutter, each wilder than the last. Whoever manages to kill the ill-tempered beast will get a
nice reward from old, retired Vekkel Benzen, who lost his leg to the monster pig a year ago.
Completion: Deliver Tuskgutter's head to Oleg's.
Reward: Vekkel has promised his masterwork longbow and six +1 animal bane arrows to whoever can kill Tuskgutter. He also promises to share the head
cheese he plans to make out of this trophy.
Source: Crazy old Bokken
Task: Bokken's something of an eccentric, but he sure knows how to make delicious potions. His secret is fangberry juice, but he's running low. A large thicket of
fangberries grows about 55 miles southwest of Oleg's.
Completion: Bring Bokken enough berries to make fangberry juice for seven potions. Make sure they're not dirty... Bokken won't bother washing the berries
before he uses them.
Reward: Bokken gives the PCs a 25% discount on all potions for a month.
Other sub-plotsAn undead thing in one of the rivers wants us to kill the stag lord, this falls into the things we would be doing anyway category but what the hey.
Bokken's Brother is somewhere to the south and a bit of a trouble maker, Bokken has mentioned that his death would not trouble him in the slightest.
A female sorceress is apparently starting fires around Oleg's trading post, Oleg and Svetlana are understandably distressed, living in a wooden fort and all.
I'm pretty sure that we will be hitting 3rd level relatively soon given the amount of giant insects, giant arachnids and little blue men we have had to kill and maim lately, I personally am planning on picking up a level of wizard and the feat craft misc magic item and some utility spells.
