Good luck, Lando!

Just as an extra reminder, I will most likely be absent for the next 2 weeks anyhow due to my family trip back to Michigan. I believe I sent you a copy of Kal's 7th-level node last week or the week before that, Reckless...... Only changes were 12 or so HP, +1 natural armor, learned Fly, claws improved to d6, a few skill points spread around, and gaining Spell Focus (Evocation).....

Kaleverithis' intention at this point is to go loot the hobgoblins he Fireballed outside the cave entrance (probably trying to grab up half of the loot on 'em, or all of it if nobody else cares to take any of it) and then head back to Vigil, sell any loot he doesn't need (the giant's magical Flaming or Flaming Burst longspear probably isn't worth keeping, since he can't use it unless dropping it first, casting Enlarge Person, and then picking it back up), then see about getting Cyrr and Tamarelle raised from the dead (priority to Tamarelle if they can't afford both yet; just Kal's personal preference and favoritism for the female warrior/healer). He's less concerned about Hocler, but if the group can afford it, he might be willing to chip in for Hocler to be Raised as well. Kal will speak as well as he can of Cyrr's and Tamarelle's valor and worthiness to the high priestess at the temple.

If the group encounters trouble on the way back to Vigil, Kal will probably cast Fly on himself and then go airborne with Tamarelle's corpse still carried on his shoulder, Fireballing and Flaming Sphere-ing enemies until it's safe to land again. If he has to, he'll drop the corpse and engage in melee combat with his usual buffing spells, but will try to avoid it while the group's numbers are so diminished. He might cast Fly on Rowan as well so she can stay out of enemy melee reach, but that depends on the enemy numbers/composition. Kal always casts Mage Armor on himself before going to sleep, after getting up in the morning, again at whatever point the morning Mage Armor fades away, and again when the afternoon Mage Armor fades. He's going to be a lot less reckless and more cautious in battle while the party's numbers are so low. He'll use the Amulet of False Life early in battle if he doesn't go ariborne with Fly, and he'll waste one or two of his arcane scrolls if he absolutely needs to for surviving or escaping any given battle (he'll also flee via Fly if he needs to; Kal's not so selfless as to sacrifice himself for the team if he can avoid it; with Bull's Strength active he should be strong enough to Fly at full speed while carrying Tamarelle's corpse).

The job hunt is still pretty depressing, having been turned down for a couple of opportunities last two weeks, otherwise, still looking and keepin my chin up. Anxious to start school again.
