Is there anyway to refresh my windows? I think they're either gone or off the screen and I can't get them. The servers window and the map window are both gone but I have my chat and alias windows with me. Is there any "reset" I can do?

At the top of the screen there should be a menu called windows.

Try clicking on the one that says map.

As for the server window you mean nothing happens when you click browse server, you get nothing?

Haha, sorry. I wasn't more specific. I'm a fairly experienced user, I've clicked and unclicked all of the options under the windows menu at the top and yes when I clicked browse server, I get nothing, presumably because it's off the screen and I can't access it.

you can delete your layout.xml file and the re-run the software. It should generate the file again with default settings.

Exactly what I was looking for, thanks, I'll try it out.

Edit: WORKED PERFECTLY. Thanks.

Mduo's old stuff for alternative layouts ought to work still if you're interested in dragging stuff about and altering the layout. I don't think anyone's messed with how setout.xml is parsed since way back in 1.6
