Does anyone know if it is possible to install a dedicated console version of the OpenRPG server only. As it stands, in order to even run the text console, a lot of graphics libraries appear to be required, starting with X-Windows and ending with GDK+. I'd really rather not install all of this onto a server situated in a rack, in a data centre, which doesn't even have a monitor attached. I wonder if it's possible to unpick the server parts of the application, so it can be run from console, without all the X and so on libraries, which actually will never get called. |

Fort he Traipse fork, I admit I have some UI imports that can be removed. But the answer is yes. Running Server instead of Server_GUI will work. |
