How to program the rules in open rpg
howdy,
I'm new to the whole virtual table top games, scene. But my group is having trouble finding a good time to meet, so I figured that a virtual table top game would be a good way around this.
So, i'm trying to find a rule set for open rpg to download.
only trouble is that I can't seem to find where to download them, or instructions on how to program the rules in myself.
Is there a resource for those of us who are incredibly new?

Re: How to program the rules in open rpg
OpenRPG is open as a platform. There are no modules to add / install so you can play a specific game. The VGT (virtual game table) has a map, dice, chat, and a game tree that can be used to hold pc sheets and other data. Die rollers exist to expedite game play for specific game systems.

Re: How to program the rules in open rpg
What I mean is, the Virtual Game Table is open, has no default rules. It has tools for playing games on it, and die rollers have been created to use rules for specific systems.
The standard dice are the basic set of dice: 1d4, 1d6, 1d8, 1d10, 1d12, 1d20 ... but the system is open and if you type in chat [1d5] you will roll a five sided die.
There are die rollers designed to work with Dungeons & Dragons.

Re: How to program the rules in open rpg
I think I understand.
But I do have one more question, the program isn't running. It says it can't recognize the file.

Re: How to program the rules in open rpg
You have to install Python and wx.Python. We are having problems with the newest version of Python and wx.Python so please use Python 2.6.5 and wx.Python 2.8.10.1 for Python 2.6.5 This thread: viewtopic.php?f=4&t=496 has links for Python and wx.Python
