What is the proper syntax to execute web based soundfiles in chat?
I've tried:
/sound http://www.wyomingwebdesign.com/files/s ... uzzer1.wav
but that generates an "Invalid sound file!" error.

Sorry Corwin. Sound has been broken for quite some time.

The Traipse fork is moving from wx.Python to PyQt and I am certain I will be able to fix sound in the next milestone. I am not sure what the Gilcrease fork has planned to fix sound.

Thanks for your speedy reply!
That's too bad.
Does this also include the xxsoundfx plugin? I extracted it to the plugins folder, selected "Update List" in the Plugin Control Panel and get the following error: "cannot import name orpg_sound".

Looking forward to...Pious Paladin?

Anything sound related I am guessing. It will work, but with questionable results.

In PyQt I am using the Phonon module. I was provided a simple audio player as an example, and it looks pretty simple to integrate into the software. I am fairly certain Phonon is also used for video, so a bonus is both types of VoIP will be available (Voice and Video).
