Post Need help with OpenRPG Installation.
When it asks me "Install Python?" I click yes, then it start downloading. When it goes 99% I get the following error:
" This installation package could not be opened. Verify that the package exists and that you can access it, or contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows Installer package.
Please help.

It may be that there was an error downloading the installer file. You could try downloading the installer again and try with the new one. If the error still happens you can download and install Python 2.6 and wxPython 2.8.10.1 manually; it's just more work. After installing them manually run the OpenRPG installer and say "no" when it asks if you want to install python.

You're not a 64 bit processor are you?

Python 2.6:

wxPython 2.8.10.1 for Python 2.6 and win32:

Thanks alot! Obviously, the automatical installation was installing only the wxpython, and not the actualy python 26 program. Now it works just fine .
