I have a new meta server available. The new meta server provides the old functionality of showing which rooms are available on the server that is registered there. The new meta also provides a human readable front end, so users can point their browser to the meta URL and see what servers are registered and what rooms are on the server. Traipse now supports multiple metas. Traipse users can now receive information from and send information too more than one meta. You may see servers in your list that do not provide rooms lists, this because you are connected to the meta at http://orpgmeta.appspot.com which does not provide that feature. I believe I have the problem with server fixed in the current Traipse Alpha. I will do more testing. The problem with the Traipse server was an eternal loop as the server attempted to register rooms to a server with an ID of 0. because ... the meta server once provided a list of rooms on each server and now yours doesn't. You could always add your own meta though with this code and then you would have that functionality again. |

I guess I would not have a use for such a feature although I do wonder how it got dropped. Actually, what is the use? |

So you can see the rooms on the servers. In case you are looking for a game of that sort would be one use. Knowledge is power dude. |

Come to think of it ... 1.8.0 would probably work with the new Meta Server, users would just need to point to it. And it probably got dropped because of the Eternal Loop bug that I found. Not certain on that one, but that was a pain. |

Perhaps I am getting the wrong idea here... wouldn't you get a list of rooms as soon as you connect to the server in the normal manner? appearing in the right hand frame of the server browse dialog? |

yes you would. But as previously, the Traipse Meta now provides that list even when you are not connected to the server. |
