With the server being down people can't seem to connect to their games. If you desperately need a server you can open the game server window in the address text box just put in openrpg.wrathof.com:6774 and click the connect button. Simple as that. I encourage other server operators to reply in this thread with their addresses. |

Because of how broken the meta server list is, I can make a small modification and deceive people. For example, if I change the port, name the server as OpenRPG DEV II, and then register the server it will remain in the list with your connection address but a faulty port. People attempting to connect to that fake server will stall out. Instead, I recommend creating a list of downloadable book marks. I have started one with some servers that are known to work. What's the problem? I can access it fine and others seem to be on the servers..... Just back from vacation last four or five days |

I assume someone started it three times and I was asking why. At any rate you'll have to ask DJ himself if he has the meta server code. I do not. |

Is there actually some sort of problem that is currently on-going with the meta server? I've been away for about a week and haven't had a chance to play for three weeks because of some other stuff going on with my DM. But whenever I've tried to get on a server it's been fine and I've had no issues with setting up servers of my own -- stuff I do for testing purposes. I tried registering a server just now and that seem to have worked although there's a ton of server's on right now which to my mind suggests maybe the registry process has been sticky and people have been registering and then re-registering perhaps? And the meta server isn't noticing when servers go down or something? Can anyone actually tell me what is / has been going on precisely? Is anyone failing to get a game going on because of any of this? |
